Never saw this mentioned yet, but maybe I have missed it. No politics please.

This was posted in the register days ago. It must be an ounce version of the dollar coin (my guess only)

Too many releases... have to be independently wealthy to buy all the 2026 releases. Insanity

Unfortunately, gold is just a bit too expensive for me to buy right now. New stuff just keeps popping up on the calendar.

You are almost certainly correct. After the gold Liberty Bell fiasco, they must have realized there would be no market for the larger, more expensive coin that was speculated about earlier this year, so this is going to be the gold Trump coin.

No politics, and it has been done before. See gold Sacagawea.

So it's the same thing under the same authorization as the circulating coins. Will allow anyone who is a fan to scratch their gold itch, and will be very similar to the First Spouse gold for the non-fans.

Nothing really to see here, and not a lot to debate. I can't imagine any mintage will be low enough to make them winners at the usual $1,000 premium to spot, but I guess we'll see.

If they limit them to 2026 pieces, and don't price them at $20K, maybe they'll have something. My guess is that they will share pricing and mintage with other recent one ounce gold numismatic product that isn't shaped like a bell.

Yea I saw this on the pricing grid about a month ago and assumed it was the Trump gold coin.

Successful deals with Weather11am, waverlycoins and Gothat3rs

According to completed sales the graded silver Liberty Bell medals are selling for higher than a one ounce gold Trump coin would cost. You still think 2026 mintage isn't low enough to cover it?

Back then I would have bought up all of the silver liberty bell medals from the mint if i could, as they were a no brainer.

A 2026 mintage for this would equally be a no brainer. I would expect prices at 10k for these.

It is a double, but only my opinion.

BTW the sales for the silver Liberty Bells are below 2026 now. Either they strike more or final sales end up below 2026.

At 2026 mintage I am in on this one.

No. I was being sarcastic. They sold 2026 silver Liberty Bells with $30 worth of silver at $750 in less than 30 seconds. They would obviously be able sell 2026 one ounce gold coins at $5500 in the same amount of time.

But that is never going to happen. They will likely make the same amount as all of the other numismatic one ounce gold, at around the same price.

The pricing justification for the gold Liberty Bells was the unique and difficult manufacturing process. And they landed in the market with a thud once the buyers club members got the memo.

There would be tremendous backlash if they tried that with these. I don't think they will.

There won't be 2026, and they won't be priced at $10K. If you'll recall, the speculation earlier this year about the coin was that it would be large and made in very limited numbers.

We now know it won't be larger than one ounce. And, if they make them in tiny numbers and try to charge outrageous prices, they are likely to be far more embarrassed than however proposed the gold Liberty Bells at $20K per ounce must be feeling.

I can't imagine 15K or so would sell out at a $1,000 premium to spot. They are neither iconic nor particularly attractive, keeping politics out of it. In fact, if not for the historically unique character of them, there would like be very little interest. Fans can grab the circulating version.

First Spouse coins were made in tiny numbers and are bullion today. If they make these in tiny numbers at very high prices, the people who end up holding them will likely find themselves very buried in them in the not too distant future.

Again, people who want to scratch a Trump coin itch have an inexpensive circulating coin. This will be a very niche product for die hards with money to burn.
