I won't see it in hand until Monday but, unless something is drastically wrong with it, will be keeping mine.

If you bought it for any reason other than your collection, you probably better cancel.
[And this is why the Mint needs a restocking fee or they need to just stop having limited mintages of everything. Mint the bejeesus out of everything so nothing ever goes up in value.]

LOL. Most of us haven't even taken possession of the coins and this poll comes up. I bought it because I really like the design of the gold coin so I'm keeping it. Also, while the premium over the melt price is a bit high, I'm treating the coin like buying bullion as I'm fairly confident that I will eventually make a nominal profit on the gold coin as the precarious position of the the U.S. government's finances practically guarantees substantial depreciation of the U.S. dollar.
If someone were to legitimately offer me $20,000 or $30,000 for the coin, I'd probably sell it. But a $1,000 or $2,000 profit on a quick flip? No.
Keep for sure. For me it was worth the stretch because I wanted to help reinforce their behavior... so we get more designs like this. And it would be nice if they reuse that medal design for an actual coin someday.
