I guess I haven't bought enough items from the Mint as I've been charged $9.95 for shipping. I don't buy much but for this year, I've bought every one of the Best of the Mint gold coins issued so far.
Budget shipping went up to $9.95 maybe two months ago. For this coin it should have defaulted to $13.90 budget shipping with signature. If your 3 BOM purchases have all actually shipped, you would qualify for free budget shipping. I would contact the USM as there have been issues with this.

Yes, I'll post pics of the coins in natural light in a min along with some of the lettering. The lettering is hard to photograph due to glare, but I don't want to remove from the capsule.

Both items are stunning. It beggars belief that the mint can produce things as beautiful as these pieces shortly after offering the one ounce liberty bell "product" at well over three times the price.

As I had mentioned, one person took theirs back based on a fault. I'm not sure what that was, but everyone else seemed pretty happy.
What's stopping someone with $23M from buying the remaining inventory and melting 4000 of them into a big brick to lower the final mintage? Hypothetically, of course. Like, are there laws preventing that, or could someone silly enough do that?

I don't have much, but, for once I actually had some, so I made the mistake of lending it to him. He paid me back a few months later than he "promised." In the interim, I ended up getting strapped for cash. figured I'd sell a UHR. The dealer at Long Beach offered me $1600 for the 69 and $1900 for the 70. So I sold the 70. A few years later I saw that the 69 was "bullion plus" while the 70 was around $5k. I was pissed. My guess (without looking) is that they're back to being a few hundred bucks apart in price.
