Yes.
The switchover was in October 2016. The software before then was an entirely different platform. I don't think there was anything like badges. likes, agrees, etc before then. (I do recall there used to be a Disagree option early on with those, but think we wore it out and PCGS removed it.)
Seem to recall it was shutdown for at least a couple of days before we could login to the new one. My earliest badge shows Oct 11, 2016 which was probably within a day or two of it opening up again. My Ancient Membership still had to wait until hitting the 11th year in 2018.
The first time a member logged in after the change, the badges automatically populated with whatever you qualified for which was often enough for the Combo Breaker badge to trigger for most members at the time.
Those who have not logged in since, such as those who passed away or left the forum or fogot their login, don't show those badges. Their acounts still may get badges for Likes; Agrees and LOLs as seen on some who were gone before the change.
There are probably some threads discussing the new forum opening from that time. I have not looked any up.

As much as I try just to lurk, I managed to pick up an ancient badge and a ton of other badges too.
Mine is coming up on a super duper Ancient membership, as its almost 10 yrs ago I received mine.
