The pre season poll was just released. #1 and #2 are BIG TEN teams. I'm really surprised Texas isn't one of the top 2.
Also excluded in the top ten is Alabama. I think the SEC is finally losing some luster after whats happened in the last several years. And the BIG TEN is getting more respect.
With 5 of the Top 10 I'd have to say the SEC's luster is doing just fine. A little flashback/memory to last season tells us how reliable and meaningful these pre-season polls actually are. I'd prefer to be 2-3 weeks into the season before thinking we have an idea of how good these teams will be.

Just not as fine as before. When was the last time a sec team was not ranked in the pre season top 2 spots? This is also the first time Ohio State has been a pre season #1 since 2015.
That said TT has the roster but not the QB. BYU is to high. Clemson is basically living off of Dabos reputation to get ranked. Michigan is to high as well, their QB didnt really show anything last year

I think Underwood had unfair expectations last year as he was barely 18 years old. I look for him to play much better this year, as he has been working with Joe Burrow.

Yes and they have 4 out of 5 returning starters on the OFF line and returning starter RB Bo Jackson. No doubt they will take a hit on defense as they had the best defense in CF last year.

Time will tell and we will see but he didnt even play at an elite HS or elite conference for high school. Other than TDs his numbers were about the same. He cant really run and even with bad coaches last year which I agree about he should have done more so hes done nothing to change my mind. His best games last year year wee New Mexico who is not good and Central Michigan also not good and he wasnt even very good in those games
