When I put in a search the grade search dont show up
Also the live pokemon friday night does not work

Maybe it's the "Filters" we're talking about because I had the same issue last night. Some searches I couldn't filter for Certification or Grade... haven't tried tonight... yet...

It works. I just found 1800+ PCGS slabbed 1881-S coins via eBay search using the available filters.

The filters are not showing up like the grade filter
When I do a search I start at pcgs us coins, then pick a series like halfs, then Kennedy halfs and then pick a grade and then the year(s)

Start with the COIN, then add specifics like TPG, etc as needed.

Same. This just recently started happening, and has been off and on. Sometimes you can't select grade, other times you can't select the tpg or the year.
I know you're trying to help but I've been doing searches for years like I said since 2000
And it seems that others are having the same issues

Maybe they took a page from Google who made their search purposely less useful so that you would have to click on more and more pages to find what you want, increasing their 3rd party ad revenue

I just tried two searches:
1- 1787 Fugio Cent
2- 1877 Indian Head Cent
Both brought up all of the 1787's and 1877's, but then the option to Filter results for Certification and Grade are not available... so, I'm forced to scroll/click through maybe 100 results including all the raw/potential counterfeit/ as well as the uber expensive MS examples... like @horseyride suggests, very inefficient but many more "clicks" to achieve the same result. If you're monetizing "clicks", more of them makes perfect sense to the peeps in the Board Room..

eBay recently removed the sidebar filter for “graded coins” from its search results, meaning buyers can no longer quickly narrow searches to only show items graded by approved companies like NGC, PCGS, ANACS, ICG, PMG, CAC, ICCS, or Legacy Currency Grading eBay. This change has been met with criticism from collectors, who say it makes it harder to find and compare graded coins and increases the risk of encountering ungraded or self‑graded items. They also removed the filter for specific grades.
A simple adjustment IN THE SEARCH BAR will get you what you want, each and every time...

You just don't seem to get it, Your search will pull up every coin, that's not what we want! We want to search the coin with a speficic grade

It was nice though to check-off a bunch of grades and search using the older filter method.
And now we are dependent on the seller using the correct designation. For example, XF instead of Extra Fine.
You've always been dependent on that. Nobody at eBay reviews listings before they go live to ensure that the coin is accurately graded or described.

I do about 50-100 searches a week maybe more and spend $$$$$ on ebay, all that will change
Old people DON"T LIKE CHANGE!
I'm hoping that this change will cost them $$$$ and they will go back to the old way of doing searches, until then I'll just take my business elsewhere

Not when you could simply check-off from a filter list the grades you were seeking. With that feature now gone it is dependent on what the listing states in the title and/or body of the auction.
I think you are misunderstanding me. The grades in the filter list are filled in by the seller. It's not like eBay has a bunch of people reviewing and grading coins before they post the listings, so you've always been dependent on the seller using the correct designation.
edited to add... Back when the only grade options were "Circulated" and "Uncirculated", I tried using them to sort searches but gave it up because so many sellers chose an inappropriate option.
In the past if you were looking for- as an example- FN15 Flying Eagle cents, you had a drop-down of grades and could simply check the FN15 box. Only FE cents in FN15 would then show-up on your search. With that feature gone you now have to rely on checking auctions with- hopefully- the grade that matches your search- in the title or body of the auction.
I'd be surprised that any auctions ever existed that had FN15 in the grade specification but not anywhere in the title or body description.
Only FE cents that the seller chose the FN15 checkbox for would show up. If the coin was actually a different grade but the seller marked it as "FN15", it would still show up in your search. And if it was "FN15" but the seller selected a different grade, it wouldn't show up in your search.
Sometimes I want to see the prices of a particular date coin that is slabbed by any of the main TPGS in all grades. You could search that date and check the filter boxes for all 5 of the grading companies. Now you would have to run 5 separate searches while trying to remember the prices for each.
I hope removing the filters isn't a permanent change.

That would be rare indeed, but never say never. I've actually forgotten to put the denomination, the date, or the grade in the title in the past.

This is true, but it also assumes that the item specifics were correctly indicated. You would never see a coin, for example, if you filtered for all 5 grading services and the seller hadn't checked one. This is true even if it said PCGS in the title.

I'm sure some do fall through the cracks like that. You could also have a seller enter the incorrect date which would fail to hit on a search or filter. Once I was just scrolling through a category and noticed a semi key date coin by the picture. For whatever reason the listing description and title mentioned a more common date. Seven day auction and I was the only bidder. Nothing is perfect, but the filters can be easier than having to run multiple separate searches.
I just checked, you are correct, they totally changed how it works. It looks like you gotta do this now and pick it out of a horizontal list of popular filters

Agreed. But you can also just add it to the search. You can also do an advanced search that includes all 5 TPG's simultaneously and don't need to do 5 separate searches. So, you really don't need the filter to accomplish the same thing.
If, for example, I simply type in "1964 Kennedy Half Dollar 67 + NGC or PCGS or ANACS", I get results that includes any of those 3 holders.
You'll also note that it also gives me the option of adding specific filters for the TPGS.
Or you can do as Spud suggested and put less information and then choose the filter from the horizontal scroll.

I appreciate the help, but I can't seem to get the "or" search to work that way. If I search "1865 pcgs" I get 320 results in the U.S. Coins category. If I search "1865 pcgs or ngc", I get only one result. I am in the app so not sure if that makes a difference.
I do see the bar now that Spud mentions, but it is only allowing me to pick one service.

Maybe it's just me but I've resisted getting the app... I do searches on my phone, but I'm mostly on my laptop. When I use the ebay "search bar" and type in: "1877 Indian Head Cent" or "1787 Fugio Cent", I could then run filters for "Certification" (PCGS, PCGS + CAC, NGC... etc) and then "Grade" (any grade available would show up with numbers in that grade in parentheses). This was brutally efficient. I would typically end up with the 3-5 coins I was searching for, in the plastic I wanted, in the grades I'm looking for... within a couple of minutes.
Now, with "updated" filtering, I just ran a search for the 1877 and got 255 results. I can use their "Popular Filters" and run a search for "PCGS" and return all of those (I got 68 for PCGS), but the previous search tool would allow me to filter for ALL TPGs in one shot. Now, I'll have to run each Certification filter independently, and only if they happen to be "popular". As far as "Grade"... after I filtered for TPG, I just did a [CTRL]+F to Find each individual grade, but (as others have already indicated) if the specific "VF" or "XF" doesn't appear in the title of the listing, you'll never find it.
edit to add: so, now instead of a couple of minutes per coin to get what I'm after and return 3-5 coins, I'm sifting through 68... more scrolling, more clicks, longer time on the platform...

Speaking of eBay, how do I block specific sellers who keep posting crap in the categories I follow?
Should be an option in the advanced search settings to exclude specific sellers.
I noticed the missing grading service and grade filters on the left bar the other evening as well. They’re still attached to saved searches, but I don’t see a way to effectively add them all to a new search using the “Popular Filters". I wish they had at least left them in the "More filters" dialog. It was particularly helpful when searching for a specific variety/description within particular grade(s) and TPG(s). If a seller is competent enough to fill in these attributes correctly, I figure the coin may be worth a look. You sometimes get a lot of irrelevant results and miss many relevant ones when you put all that information into the search box or URL.
I contend that this is a continuation of the trend toward dumbing everything down to mimic smartphone apps.
