how incredibly pathetic was this season? anyone have season tickets? if so i bet you are ticked. top to bottom what a sad sad performance. any body disappointed?

A lot of reports state that Lindor and Soto dont like each other. They have a lot more issues than that but certainly doesnt help

Well Sengas been terrible, Soto is a terrible outfielder even though hes hurt, Semien/Bichett/Lindor forgot how to hit, Torrens cant hit and has never been able to hit other than one okay year, several guys in their bullpen have just been bad. The results really arent surprising

That is $116M in salary for that group this year for the Mets... not including Soto. They might want to work on that player eval.
Guys do have a tendency to get worse going there but yea. Semien was a trade of two bad contracts sending Nimmo to the Rangers but Nimmo has been better. Bichette was a free agent but its probably not helping that they keep moving him back and forth between 3rd and SS. and Lindor hasnt played that many games from injury. Doesnt seem all that happy either.
Theyre so far back and out of it seems like every one is waiting for the season to end.

He was hyped a lot and did have that one really good year but yea weve seen this story a million times. Guy has career year returns to normal
