You were due for an easy one. Well done with the fat 50% boost!

Now please don't tell us you were thinking going into the bottom of the ninth, that the Orioles were gonna score 9 runs and win the game. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚

I did the same thing but two things are different. You got better original odds than I did and my profit boost was maxed out at $25.
Steve the Phillies game was rained out but it went over 5 innings so it’s official. I bet on Ohtani to homer tonight so I’m sure there won’t be any dingers. 😒

Three homers already, just in the 4th. So you're in good shape. Now ya just need Ohtani to pop one for ya.

I needed a W to break my losing streak so bad lol

I resorted to a pair of $10 parlays the other day then brought it down to a pair of $5 parlays yesterday and they all lost so I stopped the parlay nonsense and picked a game I liked with a nice boost

I think I've made more money involving the Phillies in my action than the Dodgers this season

I'm always looking for an angle, system, or whatever to try to gain an edge on the books. Not easy to do, and perhaps it isn't possible against their sophisticated computer. That being said, one thing I've been reviewing is maybe overall it's a better bet to wager against a team coming off a championship season, especially two straight championships such as the Dodgers.

Almost impossible for any team to have a dynasty in this salary cap era. I think it's only natural human behavior to become complacent when reaching the pinnacle. Especially with the massive amounts of money these athletes are making today.

I may employ this strategy, mostly betting against the champion Seahawks, most of the time in this upcoming NFL season, and see what happens. Perhaps they may still have a winning record, but then again maybe they don't cover the spread often enough when they do win. Still undecided on this wagering angle, but I am gonna keep a close eye on it as the season progresses. Same with the Knicks when the NBA begins.

Meanwhile the Dodgers just got swept at home in a half-hearted effort. Granted it was against a hot team. But I've seen them blow leads this season against even bad teams. And granted they still enjoy a good record overall. We shall see how they do as the dog days of August go by.

saw this and had to share. this is the chick i posted about before -- she and her husband play high-limit games (mainly slots). she's good looking and i like her personality, but she always has a tendency to make the big wins very conspicuous while drowning out the losses......and that annoyed me. i always wondered what the truth was. actually, i knew what the truth was; i was just waiting for it. to her credit, she gave it today. (apparently she posts their P/L status biannually, but i just started watching some of their vids this year and had never seen it before.) well, they lose their asses. were it not for numerous revenue streams from social media, they wouldn't be able to pull off what they do.

i think you guys will find this interesting

I can appreciate the honestly with all this, I had read a lot of people stopped watching her because she only posted videos of wins and very few losses, for enjoyment purposes I used to watch some of her stuff mainly because I find her to be hot, but I heard she is extremely rude and unfriendly in person with fans.

I used to watch a lot of Brettski and Mr Handpay but I got tired of of them and not knowing how real it was but for sure they are running those numbers off our views and their content which I imagine is a lot of work so good for them if they are profitable from making the content although I think casinos give them house money to play with for advertisment

I think anyone that believes they just win all the time is just naive, but I think that some people get their gambling fix by watching then great but you know there are people getting hurt trying to chase that big win

The only way you can come out ahead in slots is if you can get lucky and hit a high 5 or 6 figure jackpot, playing just to play with a few handfuls of $20 and hundreds is basically trading wins and losses back and forth with mostly losses.

I give her credit where credit is due for transparency. Although she may be leaving something out, but I'm not sure. Not sure because I don't know, and have no desire to know, if online casinos are still offering affiliate commission programs or not? This is where someone advertises a code number on their website, gets a gambler to sign-up at a gambling website using that code number, and then the advertiser of the code gets a piece of the gambler's action from the gambling website.

Doesn't need to be from slots. If the gambler signs-up and mainly plays say online poker, the advertiser still gets their affiliate program commissions off that.

So if you notice code numbers for sign-up on her website, then in my opinion she is not being completely forthright about all her earnings. That being said, she is being forthright about her Youtube and any other non-gambling website commissions. I know there are some if not many making money, sometimes big money doing that.

A good friend of mine, his son, has done extremely well with his Youtube channel, as it is quite interesting. I'm not going to disclose his channel here because it's non-sports related. Suffice to say when my friend told me in an email how much his son had made on Youtube commissions, my eyes almost popped out.

are you guys ready for this

so if you saw my bet, i parlayed the Yankees & under 8. massive line that was driven up to NY -235 by opening pitch. over 90% of the bets were on the Yankees.

both St. Louis and New York have had issues on offense, and each team had a solid arm on the bump. in fact, i think the Schlittler dude who started for the Yankees had the 2nd-lowest ERA in baseball.

before i could blink my bet was over..........St. Louis 6, NY 0

    i checked the score a little later.........NY 7, St. Louis 6

    i checked again just now.........St. Louis 13, NY 7

in a game where betting public was pounding the Yankees and the under, they've combined for 20 runs & 10 dingers

how do i find myself in the middle of games like this lol

I almost, came close, to coming off the sidelines and place a max-bet on the Dodgers tonight. I liked the angle of the Dodgers being swept at home, then getting away from LA on the road, relaxing a bit, and having a good game.

Well they're getting whopped by the Cubs 10-5 going into the top of the ninth.

    Very glad I abstained.

Just for the yell of it, I tried to click-on her website, but to get in I first had to fill out a birthdate confirmation that I was over 21. I simply don't trust chit like that, which is usually designed for spam purposes. I already get enough dam spam for everything under the sun, don't need any more.

However I checked out a couple of popular gambling forums. One had the mentioned code thing on there, and also had color trade-mark links to gambling websites. I'd be sure that clicking these color links, automatically tells the gambling website which advertiser the link came from, and if the gambler signs-up, the advertiser will then automatically receive a piece of the gambler's action.

The other one had dozens of those color links. So yes, gambling affiliate commission programs are still alive and well.

They're pounding the Dodgers again at -205 ML. I've already decided to refrain until football season. It's tempting to play the Dodgers tonight, and if it hits then it hits. I ain't gonna worry about it one way or the other.

Come the MLB playoffs, I may wager some coin against the Dodgers for reasons already mentioned. I think the odds would be in my favor. That's basically what I look for, especially with those juicy profit boosts.

Geez – 5 straight losses for the Dodgers as a heavy favorite. Of course the odds of a coin flip losing 5 straight times is 32 to 1. The odds of losing 5 straight times as a heavy favorite as the Dodgers were? Gotta be over 100 to 1 easily. Perhaps around 200-1 or 300-1.

Sure glad that I’m on the sidelines. I might be standing in a soup kitchen line right now, hoping to get some crackers with my tomato soup. Having a sports betting conversion with some guy next to me in line of, β€œOh so you also bet the Dodgers.” 😝

Can't ever recall a MLB team of this caliber, coming off two straight championship seasons, and was having an excellent season, suddenly go into the tank like this.

The weird thing in the games I noticed, they've been getting hits, but can't put together runs. Like today, 9 hits so far after 6 innings including an Ohtani homer, usually not bad. But only 1 run.

Considering their winning percentage vs the league the probability appears to be around 35% that they would lose 6 games in a row at any point in the season. You might want to check my work there and there are other variables which I didn’t try to consider like the actual opponents and where they are in the rotation. It was 45% to have a 5 game streak. Interesting if nothing else.

I just looked at the final score. They had to come back and make it close, and torture ya. Games like this is why I'm on the sidelines.

I've been trying paper bets with MLB, and nothing is showing a consistent profit. Granted I haven't been putting much time into it.

I've mentioned this before, that I'm still haunted by Chip Reese, RIP, stating that MLB is the only sports betting he ever made money. Maybe I just can't figure it out. But then again I'm beginning to think that maybe Chip was throwing around some BS, as most if not all professional poker players do..

I’m probably doing a Phillies, Red Sox parlay tomorrow. Had the Astros today and cashed out when they were up 3-1 right before they gave up a 2 run dinger and then lost eventually. Gained $18 instead of losing $75 but I sure wish my teams knew how to hold a lead when they get one. 😩

I am not very good at technical maths. It's surprising that it's that high though right? I almost feel like I must have done somethig wrong... the probability of the Dodgers (as a .600 team) losing 7 games in a row (ignoring they have currently lost 6... but in a random 162 game season) is 14.4%... 8 games is 6%. I used a markov chain (finite recursion property) (1-q)*q^7.

So I was curious... which team has had the shortest, longest, losing streak in a single season? I don't know the answer yet - trying to find it.

I will not bet the Yankees again this season unless Judge is in the lineup

Philly has been good to me so I cannot get mad at them

The Dodgers always find a way to screw me, I been doing Hits, runs,, RBI totals and I'm always stressing about Ohtanhi getting me 2, when I don't bet on that he launches 2 bombs of course

Haven't put the money down yet, but I'm calling it now.

    Phillies ML

Not sure about the O/U. I really like the under. However I'd hate to nicely catch the ML bet, but it's at low odds, and then give the profit back on the O/U bet. So I'll probably pass on the O/U and if the under hits, then it hits.

My max-bet was $25. But I'm raising it to $50 come football season because of previous mentioned bankroll success from last football season thru three weeks ago, when I decided a vacation was needed. Since I was all set to abstain until the upcoming football season, I'm considering this $50 wager the start of football season even though it's a MLB bet. I am going to place $50 to win on the Phillies. This game just looks too easy to pass up.

Haven't done it yet, will later today. Instead of starting with a $100 bankroll like last season, I'm gonna start this season with a $500 bankroll. If I lose the $500, my sports betting career will be officially over, but I'll go down swinging. πŸ˜‰

I've been killing it this summer on the CFL, along with WNBA, UFC, Boxing, Tennis, and especially the MLB NRFI bets.

Here's the current odds for a game this Saturday.
    .

    .
And here's the bet I got down this past Saturday once the odds popped. Notice the current cashout option.
    .

    .
That's a lot of line movement, and the guaranteed profit on the cashout may be tempting to some, but don't worry about The Count, he'll be just fine with the results of the game either way. Lol

Love Ohtani coming through with the NRFI bomb yesterday.

That's interesting - never saw on my book, before the game, a cash-out value higher than the original wagering amount.

Sometimes before the game, the cash-out value is lower even immediately after placing the bet.
