Best of the Mint (4) 1804 Silver Dollar Gold Coin and Silver Medal Set

There’s a little over a month left before the first of the two 1 ounce gold coins and silver medal companions drops. As of now, there is no posted ATS or mintage limit. Will the Mint go with 30,000 throughout the program?
Judging by the social media reaction to the series so far, this one seems to be desired more than any of the others. Good luck to all of us who want one!

Do you plan to get one? I think you may be right on the 30,000. I thought the silver medals would be getting much more discussion and interest, but haven’t really seen much pent-up desire for them.
I don't care for the silver medals but might attempt to get both the 1804 and 1907.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the medals. I know that some hate them, but they do look better in hand than on the website (which is generally always the case anyway) I'm 100% certain that the gold coins will look phenomenal once I get them in my hot little hands.
I've always been a fan of the High Relief gold coins, so the 1907 is especially appealing to me.
This one is on my ‘want’ list. I’m seeing presales on eBay for $14,000 for a PCGS SP70 set and the seller is ‘pre selling’ 2 sets. Another is just for the gold coin at $9999 for an NGC SP70. 🤔
Can we subscribe to these and skip the waiting room or do we have to compete against bots wait 20 min and find out they were sold out in 30 seconds?

You are just trying to avoid the Best of the Mint, you see that is where the name comes from, the coins are only a secondary consideration to the amazing experience that the Mint offers.
Oh, and no -- no subs for things where they can make us dance like puppets and then cut our strings in 30 seconds or so.
I appreciate the feedback Old Collector and Safari_dude. The silvers have been a useless addition to the set and less than desirable.
I was hoping to skip the bots, but I don't think that's going to happen even with its huge price (for me). Even if I don't get one, this is IMO the most eye catching of them all. I will enjoy knowing one of ya'll will get it. Maybe see one in a coin show!

Guaranteed. The timing of the release is no coincidence. When is the last time you saw so many different things coming out all at once, back to back to back?
Again, I know everyone is all hot and bothered over this, but 30K is a lot for anything that will be selling at that price point. The only recent comparisons are to things with far lower mintages at far lower prices, like the FH gold dollar 2 years ago.
These might or might not sell out, but I just don't see them being the slam dunk many seem convinced they will be. Of course, all bets are off if the mintage turns out to be a lot lower. They still have not published a number on their website.
Raw 2024s are now going for $5-6K, with a mintage of 10K. That's around what these will be going for, with a silver medal, direct from the mint. If you had to pick one for the same money, which would you choose? If the mintage is 30K, it's hard to see them going for what eBay pre-sales suggest ($8700 in PCGS 70).
As a result, I think they will be popular, and might even sell out. But, with a HHL of 1, they should be available for at least 24 hours.
Unless, of course, buyers club bots pull the same thing they did with the gold Liberty Bells, and box legitimate buyers out, only to later slam the Mint with returns when a flip doesn't develop, because dealers will be getting advance access to them, and because, like the gold bells, they won't be a great bargain at their issue price with their mintage.
