Mitutoyo M PLAN 20x. A little overkill 😅. This lens can only fit small #’s, MM & letters.

    A quick google search shows those lenses are NOT cheap.

    Wow! That's a microscope objective lens! Now I understand the price... and M Plan lenses are off the charts for resolution.

    FWIW... the student microscopes we use for Clinical Microbiology cost around $1.5k for the whole scope... with 3 objective lenses (10x, 40x, and 100x oil)...

    Great closeups, as usual. Fantastic lens upgrade, although your past lens were great also. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

    The 20x MPlan Apo is a superb lens. I use them for my phono stylus imaging. Here are a couple example "glamor" images of Dynavector cartridges:
