EXPERIENCING SALT LAKE CITY'S "THIS IS THE PLACE MONUMENT," HERITAGE PARK & PIONEER VILLAGE

Tomorrow's July 24th Pioneer Day will be a Utah State Holiday Commemorating the July 24th, 1847 Entry into The Great Salt Lake Valley by the Pioneers led by Brigham Young

In this below linked Video Playlist see both of the "This Is The Place Monuments" to include the 1921 Obelisk and the larger one built in 1947 to commemorate 100 years since Brigham Young first set eyes on the Salt Lake Valley that he had previously seen in vision and then announced, "This is the right place, drive on."

In addition to the monuments this playlist includes the full experience of visiting the expansive This Is The Place Heritage Park with its included recreated Pioneer Village.
