Watch Alaska Railroad’s “Graffiti Train” as it Lumbers Along in the Rain & Comes to a Grinding Halt
The Alaska Railroad’s “Graffiti Train” consists of a motley linkage of railroad cars long past their prime being hauled by locomotives that have seen better days as well, including one with faded Union Pacific Railroad markings.
Among the hauled cars are a number draped with graffiti as seen in this video. Stockpiled in remote rail yards, the cars were evidently easy prey as canvases for graffiti artists and, as seen, represent a level of graffiti talent approaching art.
Yesterday's video capture of Ultra Dome Cars and an Ultra Dome Car's Viewing Platform brought to mind my having experienced taking in the views from the viewing platform. I went back and located a previously unpublished video of the experience which is shared here in the below linked just posted video.

REVISITING THE UNIQUE BEAUTY OF JAPAN'S YUUSHIEN GARDEN IN THE AUTUMN
Among the most liked music videos that I have posted to YouTube this past year, the first of the two below linked videos, with its over 800 views and over 60 likes, is included. The second is a new, just posted, video. Both were filmed in Matsue Japan's Yuushien Garden and feature Celine Dion singing "My Heart Will Go On."
Among the comments it received were the following:
"So artistically maintained. Every tree and shrubs manicured to shine in its beauty. The scene is beyond beautiful. Then the autumn colors and the rising mist."

BELOW - As Steam Rises Over Yuushien Garden Pond Fall Colors Glow
Japan’s Yuushien Garden, located on Lake Nakaumi’s Daikonshima Island outside of Shimane Prefecture’s Matsue City, is renowned for its Japanese Maple Trees taking on vibrant shades of red in the Fall as witnessed in the below linked videos.
Like its shared northern coast of Japan Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa, it is also a stroll garden with both being notable for having real water features that include ponds, streams, and waterfalls.
Yuushien Garden is a short drive from Japan’s Sakaiminato Port.
Yuushien Garden, established in 1975, came into existence as the result of one man’s vision. The island on which it was built had become the source of peonies being distributed throughout Japan. Sakai Kadowaki envisioned that with an impressive Japanese Garden the island would become a destination for the rest of Japan to come visit, As built, the garden spans 40,000 square meters, equivalent to approximately 10 acres.
In addition to magnificent displays of colorful Autumn Maple leaves, peonies are prominently displayed. Yuushien has ponds, bridges, waterfalls and even a traditional Japanese rock garden.

Double Alaska Rail Locomotives Power Unique Princess & Holland America Ultra Dome Passenger Cars
Unique to Alaska in the USA, Ultra Dome Passenger Railroad Card are seen here being powered by twin Alaska Railroad Locomotives.
Seen in the below linked videos are both Ultra Dome Cars owned by Princess Cruise Lines and Holland America Cruise Line.
The only other Ultra Dome Cars in the world are some in Western Canada.
