Looks VF / XF to me or little lower. Seems rather heavily tarnished possibly cleaned. What is CPG for avg of VF/XF. Then how much sb subtracted if not straight grade? I just don’t see it as XF. Would likely say VF Details. So CPG for VF less the details hit.
Best bet get graded by our hosts, mystery over. Then - Perhaps a problem coin dealer can give you a valuation number. CPG for VF less 25pct?
I lot viewed this coin at the FUN show to get an idea of the surfaces and the toning. I originally thought the icy blue colored tone on the obverse was pcgs’ issue and could kill any chance of straight grade or any sense of normalcy with the coin due to risk of questionable color. In actuality, the coin is not as bright as the photos show, and I have no issues regarding the toning. It looks like nice album tone.
The problem is the massive amount of hairlines (especially on the obverse) which are not visible in the photos. This coin was cleaned, and unfortunately will not straight grade.

everyone, including the op, agrees it is a details coin
the issue is pcgs has seen it twice and labelled it VF details when a number of us think it is XF details
