I bought. There was essentially no wait to buy this. I think I was immediately let into the web site the instant the coins were available. I took my time checking out but was still done by two minutes after the hour.

At noon, nothing happened, but I was dealing with work (stupid job is always getting in the way of the IMPORTANT stuff ) So I refreshed at 12:01 and got dumped back in the waiting room. It let me in a few minutes later and I ordered. USM22848xxx
I just went to the Mint website now (12:10) and it let me right in, so I guess the quarters aren't that hot.
One question...since I've bought a bunch of stuff from the Mint this year, I get "upgraded" to expedited shipping at no extra cost right?

The 2026 ASE die etching (for lack of better words) went back to the more original rendition. The devices were a bit less detailed than previous AS Eagles. Was the same philosophy taken for this 1916 quarter or is the detail the same in sharpness as the 2016 release date gold quarter?

Which is why the lines at the shows. Because they sell out quickly. Not as quickly as online, because they can only process so many transactions manually at a show, but still.
