You can hit the gear and choose "mute"

    Try “Settings”
    Then “Edit Profile”
    Then “Notification Preferences”
Then look at your options on the left side of the page that comes up.

    Hopefully the mute works.
I get 100's of notifications on a certain thread and it drives me crazy.
    Thanks.

Simple, turn the computer off and go outside.

Whether you think you can or, think you can't, you're right.

I tried that, but when I come back inside, I got 100 notifications again.

So are you saying stay outside? Like forever. :D
