Post a U.S. coin minted before 1800
Besides a couple of low grade 1798 cents, this is the only pre 1800 coin that I own. I have had this coin for many years. It is definitely one of my favorites. Let's see some of your coins minted before 1800.

I have quite a few as early federal type is my favorite. These are a few of my favorites.
Other passions include golf, Moto Guzzi motorcycles, and Euro motorcycles in general.

Same here! I wanted to get my dreck and widgets posted early, knowing BillJones and the other big fish were going to be posting some monster coins.
Just the one currently.

Thank you all!
Surprised that nobody posted a Fugio.
I have a couple of sets I tried to do for the years 1794, 1795 and 1796.
These are partial sets as I obviously do not have the scarcest missing pieces.

I had forgotten that the Fugio is now considered to be the first official U.S coin.

This coin has seen a lot of action
A large part of the charm, to me, of a coin like that is that it HAS seen use. Minted before Washington became president, it circulated for many years, "seeing" many things at a special time.

You're too kind... I suppose if I could be satisfied with just one stunning coin, I could, for instance, sell all of my early copper an buy one 1793 Chain in an acceptable condition... or a really nice 1793 wreath. Or, sell my entire 7070 and get either a 1796 Quarter or SE Half... but quantity has a quality all it's own and I don't think I would be satisfied just looking at just one coin...
