Passed up on a few MS65’s. This MS66 fit the bill. Another great classic commem.

One of the higher priced coins in the series for the grade. Yours is nice.

@Copperindian, yeah Ken. This one is pretty much self explanatory. No guessing needed here.
Zack.
beautiful looking coin two(2) thumbs up.
It's a great design and a worthy topic for a commemorative half dollar.
I think that grade might be a little too generous. This one is in an MS-64 holder. Of course I bought this piece more than 30 years ago.
Here is a button from the time.
The monument on the button.
Here is a mailer with the coin. No, I don't own this.
@BillJones, except for a small spot on the reverse the coin in 66 is all there.
Quite a luster bomb in hand.
Zack.
One of my favorite designs and a great example. Thanks for posting.
Tim
Nice coin!
This is one of the better commem designs IMO. Nice example.
My first thought was, dang what a nice coin.
Nice coin! I would think it has a shot a 6+ or 7

I like these. Here is mine:

@dcarr, oh wow! I absolutely love all the original paperwork and those 3 beautiful Gettysburgs. And to think, all for $1.65 each. Which wasn’t a small amount of money to spend on a 50 cent piece in 1938, and a coin collecting community over saturated by years of commems.
Zack
Really nice coin. Loving the luster.
Looks like a beautiful 66!
