I'm a little surprised they haven't sold more. The eBay prices have been higher than the cost of these sets
It also may be worth noting that it seems like several are ordering more than the HHL by breaking up purchases in under 10's each time. Watching a live-stream and some claim to have done so, with order confirmations received.
It also let me, at least for now, order 10 more in addition to my 10 subscriptions.
I believe you’ll receive all 20. Were the second 10 on back order?

how many of you are grading the coins in this set & how many of you are planning to keep them? if you're selling them, what are your main channels to sell?

I have 3 ordered.... 1 for me and 2 for the grandchildren ( not graded )

Not grading and keeping them in the original packaging. They will go with the 1999-2008 unc mint sets I bought that are basically pocket change. These may be as well - but why not...

Depends. I'm certainly not grading anything but the cents, if i do.

I have 4 sets coming, 2 sets will be added to my 1959 to date collection sets. 1 set will be opened and added to my Dansco albums of cents, nickels etc. The last set will be put into the custom 250th anniversary Dansco album I made.
It'll be close with this year's issues because mintage limits mean nothing now
The 2017-S Enhanced Uncirculated set contains a Lincoln Cent. The Red Book lists its mintage at 210,419. PCGS says 210,402. It isn't a business strike, as PCGS grades these with the SP designation, I believe.
I bought one set. first US Mint purchase in a long time. I felt it my patriotic duty. The coins are new designs and maybe someday I'll give them to my grandkids.. I remember my dad buying the 1976 bicentennial proof set containing the dollar, half and quarter. I thought that was so cool! The country was more united back then it feels like. Now, were more divided sticking to our social media created dogmas.. I might go for the silver set too but we shall see. Great fun, enjoy your coins!

I'm in for more.
I can see why! It’ll be a close one. 42,000 to go
The overall quality of the MS coins this year are TRASH. If the mint put effort into how these MS coins look from the sets, the rest of the set could be worth some good money as well. On average, regular circulation coins this year are grading 62-64. We have only graded one coin 66 between each of the denominations.
So basically, if these coins come nice and you get them graded to sell before anyone else, you can sell a bunch of "finest known" product at a premium. But we don't know how these coins will come yet.
You can't say that until after they lift the HHL tomorrow. The telemarketers will likely gobble them up, because there are lots of ways to slice and dice them to make money.
You’re telling him he can’t say “not hot” until they lift the HHL? You already proclaimed these as not hot on page 1 or 2 of this thread!

Yeah. Things change. In a world of $750 half ounce silver medals, 10 coins for the low, low price of $124.50 is an absolute steal. 😀
Disappointing how they jacked up not only the price, but also the mintage, so much, and I'm a little surprised the market is supporting 300K at $124.50. But, no, given how they are clearly selling today, with a HHL, it is definitely premature to declare "hot" or "not hot," in spite of my opinion on page 1, nearly 2 months ago. Not an instant sell out, but it sure looks like it is headed towards one.
That's not true. Have you ever bought Coke directly from the company? There lots of products that can't be bought directly from the producer. There are also certain custom TV models or computers that can only be bought from a SINGLE retailer.
Except that Coke DOES NOT SELL DIRECTLY, the mint DOES.
I purchased coke products and dr. pepper products directly from the distributors in southern WV for years, but by case only, whether cans, bottle or 2 liters. I quit around early 2000's.
Btw, I will not buy U.s. Mint products again, due to exhorbitant pricing. JMO

Seems to me that if the cent planchets aren’t pristine (as in recent past years), that the resulting grades for most of the 300k uncirculated cents will be MS65 and MS66. MS68s should carry a nice premium. Maybe even MS67s.

I agree. The play here really is to order a bunch and hope they were treated better to get decent grades. I had a few 2026-D's grad MS67 from rolls as well as a D Mayflower quarter. Otherwise pretty much 66's.
HHL still in order, however my 3 sub orders of 5 sets each now showing shipped overnight. Guessing if you had subs in place from last year they were all honored regardless of HHL. In checkout looks like another order will be accepted as of 5am EST.

I think the blisters look OK and hope to have a set I can pass around at house events over the years ahead.
