I said, "just spend it. "
He said, "will you have some?"
I said, "I should"

That's funny, an LCS that is not getting any, there were some easy sales. I sold 3 P&D pairs at 190 and 2 P,D,S sets at 459. Sold a few other proof and unc individual but that leaves me plenty to try and find some nice (MS67 or MS68) individual coins or not -- depending on if the Mint bothers to handle 124.50 mint sets with any care,
I was lucky with the silver proof sets -- all 7 that I got were perfect and the three that I flipped left very nice reviews. And I have two perfect looking sets for me as far as you can tell through the mint bubble, and some misc. coins from the 2 sets broken for the cents -- would have been nice to have the cheap proof sets sooner for those cents. Looking forward to getting the mint sets so I can ship. I hate having unshipped items, even if it was only 3 weeks or so.

None of the 3 LCS i frequent are getting any. They don't expect to sell many $100 cents or even $125 sets. I would expect that to be the norm not the exception.

Yup, checked my mint account and it shows as processing, which it usually does on subs 4 or 5 days before drop day and I get a shipment a few days after since I'm close to Dallas/Irvine.
Must have been a massive amount subscriptions sold. My hopes of getting some when the HHL is lifted are dimming. I could see them all gone the first day on sale.

11615 buyers could take 10 at a time and wipe them out with the current HHL of 10. They won't last 45 minutes on Tuesday. Best bet if you want more than 10 is Wednesday and Thursday morning, unless of course the Mint overshoots the mintage limit and does the back order tango again.
Why is the uncirculated set more expensive than the estimated $107 issue price for the upcoming clad proof set?
Will there be an additional offering of uncirculated cents with any sets? As it stands 300k from each Denver and Philly vs proof offered in the 420,000 proof in clad set and 271,521 in silver set.
@Liquidated said:

The proof set out of San Fran Mint ($107) only has 10 proof coins, while the Uncirculated has 10 from Philadelphia and 10 from Denver ($124.50). That's just one reason.
Better than mint stupidity. They can't win as they will be judged either way.
While no one likes high prices, the Mint should charge the price that the market will bear, just as any smart business would do.

Because it has 2 cents instead of 1. In fact, it has 2 of everything instead of 1.
It's not that much more expensive, and was always priced around the same as the clad proof set. It's more now because everyone is all jacked up over the cents, and it has 2 of them.
In fact, forgetting that both sets are vastly overpriced because the Mint is creating artificial scarcity by not minting to demand, the uncirculated set is a much better deal, due to the extra cent.
We probably all get these in our email, but what caught my attention on this one was the mention of the mintage limit. I don't usually read them after I glance at what it is, so I don't know if the mintage limit is generally always mentioned or not.
WASHINGTON, June 29, 2026 — The United States Mint (Mint) will begin the sale of the 2026 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set® on June 30 at noon (EDT). Subscription orders and orders placed during the first 24 hours following the on-sale time will be limited to 10 sets per household._** The product mintage limit is 300,000 units. **_
Priced at $124.50, the set contains two cards containing 10 encapsulated coins with uncirculated quality finishes — one 10-coin card produced at the United States Mint at Philadelphia and one 10-coin card produced at the United States Mint at Denver. Each of the two cards includes the following 2026-dated coins:
• 2026 Semiquincentennial Quarters: Five coins with reverse designs depicting the Mayflower Compact, Revolutionary War, Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, and Gettysburg Address.
• 2026 Native American $1 Coin: Reverse design that portrays Polly Cooper holding a basket as she shares the Oneidas’ gift of corn with General Washington, who holds his hat in an expression of gratitude and respect.
• 2026 Enduring Liberty Half Dollar: For one year only, in place of President John F. Kennedy and the presidential coat of arms, the 2026 half dollar features a new design emblematic of the Statue of Liberty.
• 2026 Emerging Liberty Dime: For this year only and for the first time since 1945, Liberty appears on the obverse of the dime.
• 2026 Jefferson Nickel: Marked with the dates “1776 ~ 2026”.
• 2026 Lincoln Penny: Marked with the dates “1776 ~ 2026”.
Was 190,000 now 300,000 and I'll guess 10% more based on current Hollis run sketchy~ness.
I've got HHL 10 incoming tomorrow & I am picky as I've been last two decades.
I really need two clean sets then I am good. Beyond that is fantastic ! 10 for 10 would be a dream.
It starts with the CENTS that terminated to much hoop~la press last year.
Who knows how long their spotted inventory of Zinc CENT Planchets will last ???
A bonus might be they use proof prepared zinc planchets for unc production sets.

LOL, now that's funny.
If they send me junk they will get it back.
There is nothing that they have that I wouldn't be able to purchase on the open market, maybe for less money down the road.
Sometimes I wonder why I buy from them in the first place, only to be disappointed.
1776~2026 Unc set subscriptions are done, link is now 2027 & YES the Cent pair are included.
No Half Dollars included, at the moment:
"The United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set® includes two folders, one from the U.S. Mint at Philadelphia with coins bearing the “P” mint mark and the other from the U.S. Mint at Denver with coins bearing the “D” mint mark. Coins in each folder include:
"2027 Quarters
One Native American $1 Coin
One Roosevelt dime
One Jefferson nickel
One Lincoln penny
U.S. Mint uncirculated coins are struck on special presses using greater force than what is used for circulating coins, producing a sharp, intricately detailed image. The coins are sealed in blisters and displayed in folders."
Since the cents seem to be the "star" of the show, will the sets be kept and not returned as long as the cents are acceptable? In other words if all other coin(s) have some degree of flaws.

Mint automatically dropped my subscriptions to 10 again. Probably just going to leave it there and not try to increase again. 190K to 300K is a big jump, but I still think the sets will be hot.
Honestly, not so "hot." As you said, 190K to 300K is a big jump. Almost 60%. The price also had a big jump, from $33.25 to $124.50. 274%. Very difficult to see a flipping market developing. Actually, kind of hard to even see a sellout at this price with this mintage.
Looks like Hollis wants to keep all the juice for himself. 2025 sets, with a mintage of 190K, are currently going for around $140. Good luck with 300K of these at an issue price of $124.50.
Funny that you complained that I said mintage instead of prodding but now you said the same.
The 190,000 on the subscription page was obviously left over from last year, by the way. Much as the 2027 Congratulations set is probably not 60,000. It's rather important to note this distinction as the subscription page is clearly not the official product limit.
But 2026 is not a normal year. Almost every single coin in that set is new because of the 250th anniversary.
I don’t usually buy mint sets, but I did this year. And it’s even after recognizing the price is bananas.

I'm a little surprised they haven't sold more. The eBay prices have been higher than the cost of these sets
It also may be worth noting that it seems like several are ordering more than the HHL by breaking up purchases in under 10's each time. Watching a live-stream and some claim to have done so, with order confirmations received.
It'll be close with this year's issues because mintage limits mean nothing now
Agreed, with mintage limits being a moving target. So far the mint is projecting (subject to change) for the Lincoln cent:
2026 S Silver proof set limit: 271,520
2026 S Proof set: TBD ( I est. to be 250,000)
2026 P & D Unc set: 300,000 (P&D total would be 600,000)
My hunch is we could see the proof set mintage at 250,000 taking the total Cents for S, P, & D about: 1,121,520
Or...
S: 521,520
P: 300,000
D : 300,000
And you are right, I am combining Proof and Uncirculated for reference. Good Point.
You can't say that until after they lift the HHL tomorrow. The telemarketers will likely gobble them up, because there are lots of ways to slice and dice them to make money.
