These seem to be a bit hotter than some want to believe…..🤔😉

Let's keep this just between us so that maybe things cool off for the final 4 of this series.

Don't worry. After this, the buyers clubs will be out for the rest.

Doesn't mean they won't be hot and difficult to get, depending on the mintage. But it does mean we won't be competing with bots run by randos collecting credit card points and $50.

How is that any different than the BST offers and emails I (and others) receive from dealers promising us a shipping label and a $XX profit if we can get one?

It's not. But we're very tribal. When we flip, it's okay. When sneaker people do it, they are the spawn of Satan.

The issue is the "sneaker" and "toy" flippers have no idea and no interest in what they are flipping. I can say for many on here ---at least we actually like some of these products; it isnt just for the flip (profit). Maybe we buy more than one and flip a few - to pay for our addiction to these mint products.
    There are worse addictions.........

And that is no more or less noble than flipping a couple to buy sneakers... or food.

Is that +$50 or -$50? Judging by some of those ebay sales, it was pretty close!

I'm sure we will have waiting rooms, and it sounds like the 1804 is the one everybody and their cousin's BOT want.

That was the original buyers club offer.

This ^^^^. But it's less that than the number of people involved.

We are a relatively small group. Open it to the masses, and that's when you get site crashes, 2 minute sellouts, etc.

If the only people participating were people who actually collect, whether or not they also flip, none of us would have issues getting what we want 99% of the time.

you're too late on the flip of raw sets. perhaps the personal signature will save you. i'm thinking these sets won't do well in the secondary market

Yes, so far it looks like the flip on the raw sets were prior to drop day, when FOMO took over and a few sold in the $1300-$1400 range in pre-sale. With two surges in inventory out there (second wave in September) it may never come back to that range.

They may be more disruptive, but they are certainly of equivalent morality. The people here who are flipping may also be flipping to the exact same buyers.

We even have people who buy multiple to flip a couple and keep one. They also think they are morally superior to the buyer's club because they kept one.

I'm not calling anyone out. It's all the same to me. I just get tired of hearing about the "true collectors" as though there hearts are more pure.

I’ve done/do a little of all of it. I appreciate the role of all types of coin collectors and dealers and value the opinions of both.
I know a young guy who belongs to a buyer’s club, but he stopped getting involved in coins since too many others were doing it, and this year hasn’t been good for him as far as opportunities go. He knows zippo about coins. I still like the kid. lol.

I see that APMEX is offering the 2026 Mercury Dime + Silver Medal in PCGS MS70 Advanced Release condition for $3,295. If you want to save a couple dollars, the PCGS MS70 First Day Of Issue is "only" $1,695. The price for the two coins in Mint packaging is $1,295.

True collectors have an interest in the product. They want one for their collection.

Different from someone who can care less, or, know nothing about what they are buying. I love to see those buyers get stuck with a bunch of product because it generally means they "go away" for some time.

Nearly one week after being made available, my order is still in "Processing" status. I placed my order within the first three minutes of it being available and my order number (USM22516xxx) is smaller than some whom I believe have already received their coins.

I have you beat, USM22509xxx, by about 5000 orders, still waiting.

Probably will ship next week, that's how the Mint is now a days.

Before they'd have these all out after a couple days, not weeks for in stock items...

totally gone down hill this year.

I got a "call us, your payment method sucks" email. When I called they said it just didnt carry over from subscription to processing, so I input the same numbers and all was well. She did say that shipping is a bit behind right now and that it could take "up to two weeks" for subscriptions and other product to ship right now, unless you selected next-day.

There are getting to be more and more posts out there on the various Youtube and social media sites where recipients of the set are saying they didn't get a signed card. Not sure how they decided who got one and who didn't. Seems random.

It sure is a lot of writing. Given how many are out there, I'm not sure why people think it isn't an auto pen. Why, if he hand wrote each one individually, he didn't change up the text on at least some of them. Why the spacing is the same on every card. Etc.

I understand that wannabe handrwriting experts think they are discerning subtle differences in the signatures, but I've got to be honest with you, the text on the cards look exactly the same to me on every single card I have seen posted so far.

I bumped all my subscription deliveries to one day.

The cheap guy in me says : free delivery is awesome, BUT why isn't my goodie here yet ?????

Current 2026 guy says $21 bucks for overnight is a winner, and I see now likely the BEST way to actually get overpromised inhand to ship product. I'd be annoyed with a 2-3 week delivery. But Hollis is running the Mint at the moment.

Any clue when the 200,000 of 500,000 ASE $ Proofs are getting offered or maybe balance of offer gets trash canned ?

Love the idea of 24k Merc.
Bought a few in 2016 at $200 a pop direct.
Seemed pricey at time, wish I had bought a roll housed in 50 pretty hinged wood boxes.

As I buy and hold I still have them.
    24k is so pretty

    Happy Shopping !

This ^^^. And, based on the price action of the Congratulations coins, they are not going to be worth chasing, and might not even sell out. The Mint REALLY would have been better off making all 500K available at release.

I saw they had 63 today -- but they lasted almost 3 minutes (unlike past few days). The ATS dropped quickly to about 17, but from there it would drop in smaller increments (actually ticked up from like 13 back to 15 at one point -- the uptick happened a couple of times).

I had a backorder Sacagawea Gold coin last year. As the spot price fluctuated (down then back up) the backorder price never changed. And they shipped the coin at the price of my order -- not the higher price they had the coin listed for at the time of fulfillment.

Has anyone in California received a shipping notification?

My order 22516XXX. Not on backorder. But still processing after a week.
