1819 CBH help atttibuting please.

I think this to be an 1819/8 CBH, but the wear on reverse is preventing me from being sure as to which Overton it is. If I'm wrong please let me know. The space between the 1 and 9 is larger than 181 and I feel I can make out the 8 off the knob of the 9. Again, advice needed.
Thanks
Jim

Looks like a 104 to me

Looks like an 1819/8 O.104 to me, but it's difficult to tell for sure from the reverse pic. If there are no upper serifs on the reverse E's, then I would be more confident in attribution.

Why does PCGS term it O-104a?

    I assume it is a small 9.

No it's a Large 9. Not sure if I'm right, but I think a 104a has the 9 recut and it shows along the outer edges of the 9.

1819/8 O-104a is a later die state of the 104. The 104a has some additional die cracks on the reverse.
