1974 D Kennedy half dollar with DDO and DDR.....
It was confirmed by local coin shop owner that it does in fact have DDO and DDR and stated the doubling was more pronounced on the reverse than the obverse. He said he couldn't even give me a value because he was unaware of that specific variety. Are there any known 1974 D Kennedy half dollars with DDR more pronounced DDO? Sorry pictures aren't better I lost memory card did the best I could.....

There is no doubling shown in the single picture you have posted.
The short answer to any question about doubling is to go to http://www.varietyvista.com and try to find an exact match to what you think you have. If you can't find an EXACT match, then you've answered your question. If you can find an exact match, you've also answered your question.
what on the reverse is doubled?
Are you sure you uploaded the correct photo?

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Photos from the OP's member page show that there is no DDO. The apparent doubling on the microscope photos appears to be an artifact of the lighting.
At least the pic looks decent, fwiw
🤦 sorry thought I posted more than 1 picture lol
Local coin shop owner CONFIRMED DDO AND DDR sorry I don't have better photos
We've seen enough, thank you. Your coin is not a DDO or a DDR.
Please stop looking at your coins with a microscope; it is only causing confusion for you.
Now you know not to trust the judgement of that coin shop owner in the future.
You all are just freaking rude. Thanks for nothing jerks
Well that went exactly as I expected.
That went exactly as I expected! Unbelievable
It is extremely rare to have
DD on both sides, though common to have MACHINE doubling or strike doubling.
With all due respect, your coin shop owner was either just trying to appease you or he doesn't know anything about doubling.
All comments reflect the opinion of the author, even when irrefutably accurate.
If it is your coin, how much will your LCS pay for it?
If it is not your coin, have your LCS send it in to be graded and then you can make them an offer on it.

Kennedys are my quest...
none of those pictures show doubling
it's tough to say, but that coin store is wrong and i wouldn't go in there again
I genuinely don't see a single rude comment in this thread.
Would it have been better if people had said, "You found a rare error worth thousands!" or, "Don't worry, you're absolutely right!"? Those responses might feel better, but they wouldn't be accurate.
The reality is that you have a common coin with no doubled dies and a value of 50 cents. Every response I saw was factual, direct, and free of sarcasm or personal attacks.
If you're unable to accept accurate opinions unless they're wrapped in validation or agreement, that's not a reflection of everyone else's behavior - it's a reflection of your inability to handle being told you're wrong.

Bye poster reported and hope you enjoyed time on this post.
Thanks for nothing(comma) jerks(period)
Examine your other Kennedy coins using the same procedure — enlarge the fields and devices under the microscope and inspect them carefully. If you observe the same apparent ‘double‑strike’ effect across all of them, then it indicates that the optical method you’re using is creating an illusion rather than revealing an actual minting error.
And don’t give up just because this particular coin may not contain what you’re looking for — keep checking. You might discover something interesting on another piece.
Also, try not to rush your conclusions, and approach comments or feedback with a bit more courtesy — after all, everyone is expected to maintain a certain level of politeness in public platforms. Keep searching, and don’t lose your curiosity
You'll get further in here (?)
In addition, most IMO (not all) LCS don't know, understand or care about error coins.
