    Vise job or maybe just hit with a hammer. A double struck coin would have both images in the forward direction.

    So they seem to understand that something happened first (original strike) and then something happened second (next or previous coin stamped in).

    It's unfortunate that they went off the rails after that.

    coin beat together with something(s) after it was minted.

    you'd be lucky to get 80% of silver value for it since it's so severely damaged
