Sac Dollar Mint Error?
Hi All,
New to the forum. I have this Sac Dollar in a collectors case that I believe is (mostly) uncirculated. Is the slash near the "E" on the reverse potentially a mint error? Just getting back into collecting so sorry if this is a dumb question.

that's just normal wear and tear
here's one with more wear and tear
Looks like lovely toning from the catdboard
It has nice toning.
yes, it has nice coloring
There is really only one significant variety for the Sac Dollar, the 2000-P FS-901 aka wounded eagle that has value.
You can see photos here: https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/2000-p-sac-1-wounded-eagle/506153
the enhanced tail feathers is a bigger variety than that
Looks normal here. Welcome to
And there are numerous errors, which is what the OP asked about.

Spray one with WD40 and put it on tinfoil in the bbg

sounds dangerous, and anti-numismatic
got pictures?
No, it’s caused by another coin falling rim-first onto the surface of your coin. You will find that the impression is a near match for the edge of another sharply struck golden dollar.

Oh yeah, the "Cheerios" dollar, forgot about that one! Thanks
Just damage from the edge of another coin. Coins that were put into third party holders like this came from rolls sourced from a local bank or similar source, these were sold as souvenirs at many places. They received no special handling or care and are not special or valuable only worth the face value of one dollar or perhaps a few dollars if someone likes or wants that packaging.

Thanks everyone!
