1705, 2/3 Thaler, Brunswick-Luneberg-Celle I think.
I'm BACK!!! Used to be Billet7 on the old forum.
Looks like a German States 2/3 Thaler from Brunswick-Luneburg

My 1997 Krause has it in VF at $90 and is the same price for the other 1701-1705. Those after 1705 are $100 in VF. Who knows what one is worth now 30 years later.
You can search completed auction lots with this coin online, the most common search term is it's catalogue number / reference "Welter 2153".
In recent auctions, coins in a similar grade sold for around 100€ (120 Dollars) plus auction fees (usually around 20%).

The "George Ludwig" referred to in the titles of this coin is of course the future king George I of Great Britain. When Queen Anne died with no surviving children in 1714, most of her surviving close relatives were Catholic, and thus ineligible to inherit the British throne. George Ludwig was the nearest Protestant relative (being the great-grandson of James I), so became the next king. Of course, in 1704 he wasn't even "Elector of Hanover" yet, he was still just "Duke of Brunswick-Luneberg".
The prohibition against an heir to the English/British/Commonwealth throne either being Catholic or marrying a Catholic was not removed from the succession laws until 2015.
Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, "Meditations"
Apparently I have been awarded the DPOTD twice.
