Shipped this morning. Still waiting on 3 back orders of Mayfield and Revolutionary quarters.
Some have said many of those backorders on the Rev War are to be filled on April 28, but I don't see anything noted in my account saying that. Only says "backordered"

Check where you check the ATS. There is an "in stock" date a couple lines higher.

War Quarters P bag has shipped today. Both Mayflower bags have moved to processing. Only backorder left is the War roll set. 3 out of 4 ain't bad.
Yes, the in-stock date for quarters is April 28. So, some shipping now, then, and maybe more will be sold that day.
Wow. The rolls flashed ADD TO BAG this morning, I clicked on them and then immediately hit CHECKOUT...a message popped up and said, YOUR BAG IS EMPTY! Yikes, that was gone in a flash, apparently as I added it a faster computer snatched it right out of my bag!
My two roll set was canceled today. In and checked out within the first few minutes, but cancelled anyway. I have 8 silver proof sets on subscription , so I guess I’m not too bummed

Sorry my friend , I received my rolls however the bag is on b/o

I had my order within the first minute. My order was "processing" for over a week. I called the mint on Monday and asked why it hasn't shipped yet. For some reason my CC, which has been saved and used with the account for a few years, did not go through. I had to re-enter my CC. The order has finally shipped.

Had that happen to me too once this year. You have to put your CC number thru on a secure line and cannot give it to the agent.
Just curious: A friend ordered a bag of the 2026 dimes on the day they were released from the Mint, but he said his order is still on back order. Is this normal?
As an aside, I still haven’t seen one of the new dimes in the wild. Not that I use much currency or coins any more, but when at stores I have been asking some of the cashiers.

I received my roll's however my " DIME BAG " is on B/O also.....
I'm thinking you might be hard pressed to find these in circulation ?
Well, the mint failed to amaze again. This is part of the reason I quit buying circulating coins from the mint, quality. The wash or rinse is still spotting coins. The few I have gone through have quite a bit of spots. Denver is leading the way with what looks like this rinse smeared across Liberty's face in parallel lines. Like a feeder scrape.
I now have an appreciation for the design of all previous dimes. Even the Roosevelt dime. Less is better. Simple is better. Field space is at a premium on these small coins. There's too much design on this dime. The larger a coin gets obviously the more intricate an artist can be. Small coins need simple designs. I like the artistry of the coin, it needs some simplification. The mottos on the coin could also use some rearranging and font resizing. I'd give the design a 7/10.
If any MS68 coins are to appear they may come from the uncirculated set. There may be some MS67s in the bags and rolls. The majority are going to fall in the MS66 and below range. I have seen CACG coins graded MS62 and 63 on eBay. No spots and minimum to no abrasions may get you in the winner's circle. The luster is the same on all of them, shiny.

"On the day"? 😄 The difference between "shipped" and "backordered" was measured in minutes at most.
I got lucky and mine shipped pretty quickly. But lots of orders went to b/o. Your friend should still get them, though.

The Mint bags are unrelated to the availability of the circulation product. It is the packaging not the coins that are likely on backorder. They've already minted 260 million of the dimes.

I searched my dime bag. I sent in a good quantity of D dimes which I expect to get several 67s. The Ps were not as nice, I think I submitted 2 and I expect at least one to be a 67.

people blame this on the QC at the particular mint. both produce high, medium and low quality and it's the luck of the draw regarding what quality you get from a particular mint

Boom...we win.
That might be a super-bargain if the rolls prove to be mostly high grade.

At first glance I thought this HSN ad was selling USMint rolls.

and as I've been saying, the bags and rolls get no special treatment
i recommend not getting the bags because the sliding and grinding against each other makes them a lesser choice over rolls
mint sets are an expensive search
The new "circulating" dimes are minted just like the new "circulating" quarters - see the video below.
One might want to remind themselves that these are not intended to be a numismatic treasure.
They are simply a form of money that is intended to be used in everyday commerce.

……and the “plan” is to revert back to the 1946 original Roosevelt for next year forward?
normal

Not a lot, but that is a separate issue which is still unrelated to the bags being on backorder.
