I like them and ordered several in both silver and uncirculated. The designs are unique this is a chance to get the whole set bundled together. Unique half dollar, penny, and of course the whole SemiQ range.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
I worry that I will be stuck with a couple grand of mint product, for which I will have to beg Lanza to buy at cost and split-shipping. Or, have endless two-thread giveaways and “board member deals” on BST.
I only want a silver Proof set. I hope I get it because I want to include it in a Summer FUN exhibit of independence celebrations for each of the 5, fifty year intervals.
I have a subscription. I tried to increase it to two sets yesterday and got a message that the mint won’t do that because it’s fully subscribed. I only wanted the second one because the first could be defective. I’ve had more than my share of not so nice coins from the mint over the years. I’m not taking about not getting a PR or MS-70. I’m talking about significant scratches, spots, ugly die polishing and planchet defects.
I hope I get a decent set by July 1. Since the release date is June 11, I don’t think it’s too much to ask.

Maybe the wisdom of ending mint sets in 1982 and 1983 was 44 years too early but they were right. Bullion and doing stuff like reviving large cents is the way to go for the mint in the future.
That’s odd. I was able to, but may lose them back again tomorrow. They have no HHL, so ordering as many as you want isn’t a violation of the posted HHL. Maybe they plan to lower the HHL after they’ve taken all the extra subs back? With the 2026 Mint, everything is a guess.

I was able to add a few (3) to my 3 separate subs that had a total of 7 sets.
So, in my case I'm restricted to 10 total sets across 3 separate subs.

Did you try to go above 10? I was able to add my lost one’s back (for now)

Yes, I tried to up all 3 separate subs(10 sets total), and got the following message...
"The household limit for this subscription has been exceeded."
Just a total guess....maybe they reduced orders (subs) to 10 in preparation for a HHL of 10. Perhaps if they reduced the HHL first then the system would cancel those excessive orders completely.
Thanks for the update! I don’t think many are aware yet what happened this evening.
Not to stray TOO far off topic, but did you take at look at the ATS for the Silver proof set coming out prior to this set? Interesting number when taken into consideration all the sets of 10 subs already out there.

10 for me...for now.
I may have noticed it as they were working on it and was able to sub mine back before they squashed the limit to 10
I signed up for 8 of silver and 8 uncirculated. Decided to pass on the straight proof set.
The silver proof set is special to me with all of the one year designs in pure silver. Looking forward to the dime and 50 cent

Are you sure these are advanced purchase eligible? Even if it is, they are generally limited to 10%

Same as on the other two threads

As requested, that was free of drama.

This forum has changed significantly in the past two decades .....
It didn't bother me. I'm just not sure why we needed another thread to repeat our previous opinions

Lol. He didn't start the others, but he did contribute. And he did start one of two.

How about folks that didn't see the original post ?!
Give it a rest man !
You could just bump the previous thread. You've been doing it with the giveaway announcement.

I like it (but not the price) and have one on order.
Overpriced. Is that too much drama for you?
Don't want one, not buying one.

Don’t buy that stuff. A lot of it falls in the after market. Consider a lot of it JB material.
I like quality TPG graded coins and currency.

If that’s your thing go for it. But for me bidding on PCGS or CACG stuff, etc. The few raw I have are junk box material.
I respect your opinion.... to each his own I guess
Where's Insider when we need him?
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
**I'm glad folk's have the insight ! **
Subs available again.
people need to check to see if their sub number was reduced
33,901 available right now. That was a lot of reduced subs!
HHL = None for subs, what's the fuss all about?
The fuss is that they have been reducing existing subs to a maximum of 10.
I am pro 2026 uncirculated set.
Thanks, maybe they should change HHL = None, to HHL = 10.
AGREED
That’s a thought. They’re allowing subscribers to add back what they reduced. Strange evening at the Mint.
I could not add mine back

Still almost 2 months left..... It would not surprise me if it was reduced down again !
What is the ATS # ?
33387
Thank you !! still a far cry from 190k

So would you buy the unc set or the silver proof set given the new numbers
Frank D
I myself purchased both....
if the unc set subs can't go dark in 24hours, i would conclude both were/are subjects of mania subscribing
