    I saw that but it is very PQ regardless. CAC has been extremely tough lately.

    Pat, my guess is that it was a combination of the darker areas of blackish rim toning on both sides and the light scratches on Liberty’s jaw, which are apparent in the larger obverse image. As per my previous post, if CAC thinks the coin is (just) a low or mid-range (edited) 65, that would likely preclude a gold sticker.

    IMO, this coin is undergraded and should have been gold CAC, the open field looks so clean compared to many ms65. I think the scratch on the morgan's face is the reason it is not gold bean

    Did you intend to write 65 in there instead of 66? The coin is currently in a 64 graded holder.
