Doily Saint, (finally)

I finally got my gold doily! Been looking for a while and I havent had too much luck on GC lately, last week I lost a nice MS65 Morgan doily by like $50, (I was not happy), this week I had my eye on this MS62 CAC doily Saint, and surprisingly won it!!

Congratulations and as @MFeld has stated, unless the winning bid fell between whole bidding increments, you don't know if the winning bidder's max bid was "only" $50 more than yours or if it was $500 (or more) than that.

I was the underbidder. I only lost because I already have too many 1924 Saints (22} including 4 doilies 2 black NGC 4 NGC white label NGC 2.1 slab and CAC stickered PCGS MS-67 one. I did bid on it because it did look nice.

I have a few Saints in OGHs but not in the doilley or anything earlier than PCGS Gen 3.1

Congratulations, nice coin. I have this coin in watchlist, did not bid on it. Doily holder is what i miss in my collection but they usually carry big premium, more than rattler

I have one doily, but it’s just a Ben Franklin half. The slab is virtually new, so I’m not complaining!
