Chris,
What level do you typically use when submitting to PSA?
Hey David - I have been using a PSA Dealer in New York City - Sports Card Yoda, for grading. He uses different levels depending on the cards. Some he gets graded at shows and/or trips to PSA I believe. He is mainly into modern and has a focus for grading. With the exception of a 1/1, if a card is likely not to get a decent grade he tells me so I have a choice to proceed or not. I pretty much have him decide if an auto is worth grading or not. Easy and fun to work with and is results oriented. I came across him on Instagram.
Hard to imagine that card made it out of a pack, being sent off to be signed, signed, being sent back and then through the grading process AND still came back a 10!
So cool. I have tried for years to get one of my magic/bird rookies signed by all 3 with absolutely no luck.
.
I had good intentions of getting mine signed by all three too, but they now charge a kings ransom to sign those. I think Dr. J and Bird are $1K to sign that card. Not sure what Magic is or if he has upcharged on that card as well.
My worry is I start the process and then something happens to one of the three guys, leaving the card incomplete. I've tinkered with just buying it already autographed.

I had no idea they charged that much to sign that card. I'll be perfectly content keeping it as is. lol
Last one from the batch. 81 Football is where it all started for me at age 11. This beautiful card came from a Cello Pack out of the last CU BBCE Group Break that was graciously organized by SLUM22.
I didn't collect a thing during the 90s but opening them now is so fun. It's hard to believe these are as old as they are and seeing all the players fresh is super-cool.

Cooper Flagg became the youngest player to have a 50-point game (51 points) in an NBA game last night…
Magic cards I pulled from Wax Packs a few years ago that were sent to a PSA signing/grading event.
Man, I love a card autographed in the wild.
A Blazing POP 3 - Double 10
Wow, that is amazing.
Thanks!! It's a keeper for sure .

That's an amazing journey.
Sent a couple cards I pulled off to a DR J signing. Here he is signing one of my cards. So much fun growing up and watching him play!!
Loved Dr J as a kid!
Carlton bringing the heat - AUTO right down the middle.
SHARP SHARP CARD!!!!
Feel free to send me the Jerry Rice PMG Masters if you pull it. I'll pay for the shipping.> @UFFDAH said:

Dr. J looking really good for his age. His hands are enormous and they definitely don’t look like hands of a 76 year old.
Even in his 70s Dr J is the coolest most badass dude around. Probably my all-time favorite NBAer.

Somethings are just worth 1k.
"Joe Cool"
Are you sending all these in to be graded/authenticated?
Looks like you chose some quality cards to be signed.
Yes Sir!! That's the plan.

LT signing my 85 Topps
How do you get photos of all this happening? Do you go in person to all these players?
I don't go to the events myself. I send in to a couple different processors who sometimes are able to share pics as the signing occurs.
Shaan Gandhi, Power Sports Memorabilia and Waukesha Sports are who I have worked with.
Chris,
It is very cool to have a photo of actually signing your card. The ultimate provenance!
Thanks, yeah many chases out there to be had!!

Receiving more rip stock
Fool me 11 times friend you can’t fool me 2.5 more! Or something like that.

Good luck.
A's a piston fan > what could have been if not for injuries
Agree - Grant Hill sure was fun to watch at DUKE and it would have been even better if he could have hit full potential in the NBA.
