Those are being sold by the Merrick Mint, not Walmart.
What a deal. $70 for $10 face in new dimes.
Einstein’s view of God was non-traditional and pantheistic, focusing on the harmony, order, and intelligibility of the cosmos rather than a personal deity. His quotes reveal a profound respect for the universe’s mysteries, a belief in rational laws, and a moral philosophy grounded in compassion and understanding, bridging science and spirituality.
“My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.”
Albert Einstein (14 March 1879--18 April 1955)
There doing the same with the quarters on the tv
They are a private reseller. Buy or don't.
The mint should be minting to demand at face value with "reasonable" extra cost for fancy paper and processing.
Why? They're face value from any financial institution. The world is full of suckers and fools.
Who is that supposed to be Robinhood? Think I'll try the bank method today though I'll prolly get new rolls of 2023.
So Walmart uses a third party, they do that for many products, they are still advertising it to their buying audience. Your comment is irrelevant, Walmart gets a nice cut of the sale price, just like EBay or Amazon for third party sellers.
Walmart's collecting the payment. It's pretty much the same for everything else in the store. When you buy Wheaties at Walmart, it's not General Mills that's selling you the box of cereal.
A percentage of financial institutions have them.
Still incorrect. In regard to these coins, its not that Walmart "uses a third party" - it allows third parties to sell on its online platform. But that's OK, accuracy is "irrelevant", right?
Amazon is the same way.

Overcharging is not gouging unless the seller of the goods or services is in a monopolistic or oligopolistic position. Examples might be utilities, suppliers or hotels post-cataclysms - and the US mint when selling non-circulating coins to collectors of sets.
It's not the same. It's more like ebay. Walmart doesn't stock or ship those items. They just get a percentage of sales from the sellers.

All the state quarter retailers are firing up the marketing machines and advertising budgets!
Ebay and other resellers have been doing it for decades. I was just surprised that the national mint joined their ranks.
"national mint"
?
U.S. Mint. He's been griping about "price gouging" on two threads.
