The 87th CSNS Convention opens two weeks from today at the beautiful Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center in Shaumburg, Illinois. It runs from April 23-25. This show has been revitalized in the last few years and is now one of the three must attend shows of the year. CSNS members are admitted free and there is plenty of free parking. This is one of my favorite shows of the year. Who is going?

Do dealers mostly sell US coins? I need to fill some holes in my world coins struck by US mints set but if the show is primarily US only, might not make sense to go...

I'll be there Wednesday through Saturday, shopping 'round the bourse, taking in as many presentations and exhibits as I can, catching up with friends, and attending various meetings.
I'm giving a talk on Friday 4/24/2026 at 5:00 pm, on "The Semiquincentennial Coins: What's Going Right . . . and What's Going Wrong."
I'll be meeting with authors, researchers, and other contacts. And as always, I'll keep an eye out for fun and interesting things to write about in the hobby community.
