Like a lot of collectors, Lincoln cents such as wheat pennies are what got us into this hobby. Whether you were starting an album or finding an old cent in the change, the Lincoln cent was the spark that lit the fuse to the curiosity of coin collecting. It is what got me interested in old coins with history. Let’s give the Lincoln cent a thread it deserves!
Post your Lincoln cents!!!
I will start with my recently acquired 1909-s VDB

Just about the time I was about to give up on searching for varieties, this RDV-6 showed up...
My first and only proof wheat
Coin roll find from ~2 years ago
What is an RDV-6 variety, for those of us who don’t collect varieties? Thank you.
Transitional. Similar to the 92 CLAM
Oh great, more useless information. Forget I asked.

Recent eBay pick. I would tell you what variety but I don't want to offend anyone...

09 Lincoln’s have varieties? Educate some of us, or me anyway. Seriously.
You might find something here:

Thank you.

This thread has the potential to break some records. 👍
Since you asked, yes, many, many varieties of just DDR's for the 1909 Cent. The one shown is VDDR-019. The list can be found here: varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%201/DDR%201909.htm
Thank you. Tough to see with these old eyes, but I believe I can see the doubling.
Just a few for now.

Only one I have pics of on my phone.
Reverse design variety, there are 4 for wheats, and 8 for Memorial reverse. There are also many ODV (obverse design varieties) and they are all listed nicely at Variety Vista. http://varietyvista.com/25 What Are Die Varieties/Lincoln Cent Memorial RDV Changes.htm
His reply is a link where you can get lots of information about the variety, including pictures.

"Keep in mind that most of what passes as numismatic information is no more than tested opinion at best, and marketing blather at worst. However, I try to choose my words carefully, since I know that you guys are always watching." - Joe O'Connor
Plucked from circulation between 1963 and 1966 while I was in the Cub Scouts, this is the oldest Lincoln cent in my original collection that still shows traces of mint luster.

Thank you. I’ve been skeptical regarding most varieties, and will remain so. My issue is the extreme subtlety in most cases. However, I now see a number that clearly stand out as “different” that I was unaware of. Very enlightening. I have an expanded type set and am always looking for substantive design changes (intentional changes). Any excuse to buy coins.

Some nice RED’s.

Here are some of the key actual varieties (use http://varietyvista.com/01a LC Doubled Dies Vol 1/DDO Listings.htm for DDO and DDR)

I have about 50 others in MS, but that would be quite excessive for a post.
@Old_Collector , Any idea why is the reverse of the coin on the front of the holder?

Einstein’s view of God was non-traditional and pantheistic, focusing on the harmony, order, and intelligibility of the cosmos rather than a personal deity. His quotes reveal a profound respect for the universe’s mysteries, a belief in rational laws, and a moral philosophy grounded in compassion and understanding, bridging science and spirituality.

Aha, I didn’t recognize it. My thanks to you and my apology to Mrs. Spock.
... my apology to Mrs. Spock.
Heh, you are in small minority that would recognize the name: I believe it was just in one episode.
That is how all shield cents are. My guess to accentuate that awful shield design.
What do you mean "that is how all shield cents are"?
AFAIK all LSCs are mounted with the shield showing on the front.
correction: unless it has something going on with the obverse [e.g. extra V, etc], PCGS & NGC do but, ANACS does not.
Well, okay. I think you can also request the TPG'ers to place the coin in the holder in any position you like.
EDIT: If an error or variety is on the reverse of the coin, I like that facing or positioned on the front of the slab.
Nice times two!. '15-S and '26-S are really tough in such a lofty grade as your pieces. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, the TPGs are not very bright. The only correct direction shield cent that I have is from CAC for a 2017-S enhanced.

So many pretty pennies! I'm envious! Here are my more interesting ones - at least to me.
