Colorful Clad Coinage - a thread dedicated to Colonialcoin
Since @Colonialcoin expressed his pining for a thread on clad coinage as compared to the ridiculous political threads, I thought I would alleviate his hunger with this thread! ![]()

I love me some clad toners:
Tough to show these coin's color in a scan. The Kennedy half doesn't look like this but is toned more like Elmer Fusterpuck's Kennedy above. The dime is gorgeous, but the scan doesn't recreate the color and on this coin. david3142's 1984 Kennedy obverse above shows similar toning to this dime. I tried anyway.

.
I saw Catbert's OP and remembered that I have a few nicely toned coins in my fiancée's deceased father's collection in an inexpensive, themed coin holder. So, I broke these out of their cheap/fancy coin holder entitled "Coins from each decade of the 20th century" and scanned them. The early coins were mostly in About Good to Good condition, but these uncirculated clad coins were nicely toned.

Here are photos of some of my toned clad coins.
This one is technically an impaired proof, pulled from pocket change.

This one and the 1982 Jefferson above it were pulled from a proof set that was affected by a fire.

And a bonus from the Dark Side since it was struck by the San Francisco Mint.
