Most of us here are of the mind to let a moderator delete this thread. Of course, you could delete this thread yourself. Do that and nobody would be offended.
I would delete it if I could but I cannot, I think once you have a reply you're stuck. either that or they hid the option so well I can't locate it.

Agree. I wasn't totally clear about what I meant about "delete the thread". You can edit the title to say "delete"(or whatever else you want it to say) and you can also effectively delete your own posts using the edit function. I'll edit delete my post you are referencing to serve as an example. You are able to effectively put your thread in ruins by doing this. I'm not commanding you to do anything specific just putting an option out there for you to consider.
Edit: I see I'm not saying anything you haven't figured out for yourself but by doing "edit deletes" you discourage some of the ridiculous meme carp that has taken hold on this forum.
Einstein’s view of God was non-traditional and pantheistic, focusing on the harmony, order, and intelligibility of the cosmos rather than a personal deity. His quotes reveal a profound respect for the universe’s mysteries, a belief in rational laws, and a moral philosophy grounded in compassion and understanding, bridging science and spirituality.

I suspect that the meme carp is the only thing that keeps some of these threads from being as big a train wreck as they might otherwise have been. The earlier threads on these controversial topics somehow resulted in no bannings and not even any jailings. Maybe the memes broke up the contentiousness just enough.
His rocket burned out long before his legend ever did.
I've installed a new fuel pack. My goal is not to be as annoying as I was before.
Collectors should arrive at this site and not be too bothered by idiocy. I will do my best
to not cause (too much) trouble.
In other words: I will attempt to be more like @jmlanzaf is now and less like I was before.
(Wish me luck. It is a tall order.)

Or perhaps the moderators were forgiving due to the amount of punishment they would have had to dole out.

@Morgan White is a low bar indeed. Why not shuck the hack work and strive for the high bar? That would be @IkesT. His meme work here is second to none. Since I scolded him for doing the d word on iconic Rockwells his harshpuppy work has blossomed into something really special. It's an honor to be in the presence of such excellence.

I have to admit, @IkesT does have your number. His harschepuppy work is definitely top notch but I think the "two turkeys" theme could use some additional exposition. Hopefully we'll see his expanded portfolio soon.

A meme screener for this forum is badly needed . I'm open for the job but I don't work for free. I would need absolute authority to say nay or aye to memes posted here. "Aye" gets my blessing and seal of approval. "Nay" to the meme results in the meme going to the meme black hole, a place of forever no return, a place of dishonor, a place of disgrace.

I don't have time to make memes. I take a break from my work investigating the power of the Dirac delta function by coming here. To be great study the great ones, MW. The great one for you to study is IkesT. And get those turkeys out of your head as I'm almost certain IkesT has gotten turkeys out of his head since I scolded him. Soon after he got scolded is when he won my respect as a meme artist. He did lash out at me and the evidence of that can be seen in that historic thread I created last November.

yeah, no one should be judged by their worst moments. I had 5 minutes of literal insanity against a long time of rational behavior (outside anything associated with the OPEN FORUM. If you're old enough? you're aware of it. kids? ask your grandparents about the OF)
that being said, I've been RL and am shocked to see people constantly posting to the thread keeping it at the top... I figured it would go like an anchor to page 2..3.. and obscurity.

Actually that is inaccurate…
Jackson was quoted as wanting to hang John C. Calhoun (if he lead South Carolina to leave His Union) and shoot Henry Clay.

You don't have to buy one. So what's the big deal? Other than hurt feelings.
Is this a coin forum or a facebook "no kings rally" event page?

I never thought that I would say this, but I miss the threads about clad coinage.
I would delete it if I could but I cannot, I think once you have a reply you're stuck. either that or they hid the option so well I can't locate it.
You can't delete a thread. You can only edit your thread title and content.
The damage has been done. All that's left is to see what the aftermath brings.

Try deleting your account. That should fix things.
I wish this forum allowed for both "agree" and "LOL" buttons to be used at the same time.

I'm surprised. I was pretty sure he was trying to 86 himself.

I suspect that the meme carp is the only thing that keeps some of these threads from being as big a train wreck as they might otherwise have been. The earlier threads on these controversial topics somehow resulted in no bannings and not even any jailings. Maybe the memes broke up the contentiousness just enough.
Being more like me is a bad idea on this forum. Aim higher.

Well, there is no way I could ever aspire to be like @Morgan White , so yes- you will have to do.
Or perhaps the moderators were forgiving due to the amount of punishment they would have had to dole out.
Perhaps they won't be so forgiving this time.

Just be happy that no one quoted you.
You must be well liked.
Mebbe quoting offensive material should be sanctioned as well.
Didn't you have Copilot read the thread before you posted? He was quoted.
He only puts his own words in Copilot. He only wants his own words echoed back to him.

Repeat, IkesT's meme work here is second to none. His work is lasting, is memorable. Yours isn't. That's the harsh reality you are living with.

You're doing pretty well yourself on the witty sarcasm front. Your self deprecating use of harsche didn't go unnoticed. You should try your hand at memes. I'm sure we'd all enjoy them.

Seems that the coinage of George II can be discussed without political ramifications as this really is a Coin Forum.
