Many in coin club loading up on silver bullion coins (raw or slabbed). Those who did so say 18 mo ago banked big time (huge profits) recent silver high. One guy finally got the money he needed to put down for a new car. Have fun.

Popular issues ASE, GBR, Mexico. CACG has even slabbed Mexico Libertads - a very popular highly collected, stacked issue, many wkg on date sets; current auc bidding very competetive.

Would like get some of those 2026 PF ASE in 69-70 that are graded. Pcgs or CACG.

I hope the real Liberty Bell privy looks better than the pictures. The mint has the capability to put some detail to it and make it look like the Franklin half reverse. Still won't be worth the price though.

These coins are already worth way less than half of what you paid for them.
Spot down to $ 65.00 and falling rapidly.
The mint execs are laughing all the way to th bank.

So are they just going to trickle these out the door every few days until they get to 500k sold, or are they going to short-strike? That's the question

Since the sales report for the last 2 weeks has been stable at a little 299K, my guess is that they
are reselling coins that have been returned by the big boys. Doubt these are newly minted, but who knows?

If they are accepting returns from them, that should tell you something.

The last drop of these was this past saturday, and that was the first one of any size, so it would not have hit any sales report you have seen.

The Big Boys generally don't return coins. Some of them, like ABPP aren't even allowed to. They are more likely cancelations or returns from Little People.

The last sales report was for week ending March 22.
Wouldn’t the 4K that dropped Saturday be included?

Think I’m better off not trying to figure out how the mint does thing.
Have been following just a few issues since last summer’s gold sunflower, and to me it looks like chaos.

I'm not going to pretend like I know what the hell the mint is doing, but I assume sales get added to that report when orders are processed. My orders from saturday just got split into the shipping quantities this morning, so my assumption is that the sales from saturday (and maybe today if processed fast enough) will appear on the report with the Mar 29th date.

If someone knows definitively and wants to correct, that's fine, but in the context of how messed up Mint IT is, I will bet that there is very little chance a sale on saturday ends up on the following day's report.

These are all 99 QTY so may have to do with that. They finally separated them into the shipping quantities on the order page today, so will ship today.

On an order of that size, how do they split them out for shipping?

The most Silver Eagles I've received in one box was 50.

44x2 boxes (I assume this is the same bulk mint box they used for the 44 quantity 25RH sets) and then the rest in separate smaller box(es). Like everything the mint does, it is not consistent. In one order, the tracking numbers are separate for quantities of 44, 38, 6 and 11. Most of the rest it is 44, 44, 11

I guess this is a good thing. I’m sure there are some who don’t have this one yet. Didn’t they have over 200,000 before they hit the Mintage limit?

Yes. That's what's going back on sale. Possibly all 200K.

This is going to do to these what the extra 20K did to the Congratulations set. Which is fine.

Everyone who wants them will be able to get as many as they want. Maybe the people suffering from FOMO who overpaid in the secondary market after the first release will learn from this, but likely not. The fact is, anyone who chased 500K proof ASEs in 2026 at $173, let alone a premium to that, got exactly what they served.

These are not going to sell out, and will be selling below issue price in the secondary market in a few weeks. 60K Congratulations sets now going for less than $200 tells us that.

In fact, in this case the Mint very likely screwed itself, because it could have taken advantage of the hype and probably sold all 500K back in February, whereas now, with all the other stuff dropping, and the secondary market for these and the Congratulation set being what it is, that is never going to happen at $173.

Lessons learned this year by many. I agree that they could have moved 500,000 back in Feb and am surprised they didn’t just do back orders like they did for most of the other 250th stuff. There’s too much product coming up for buyers to sink $173 into silver with spot at $76 and a flip for a lil profit soon to be next to impossible. We could both be wrong, but I can’t see how. Maybe they’ll only do another 50,000, but I think that, too would sink secondary pricing. Haven’t checked this one lately to see the latest prices.

Not wrong about this. NO ONE will be buying these to flip.

The buyers will be those who want them, fresh from the Mint, to keep or to give as gifts. There is no flip now, and the flippers know this.

That's why demand will be muted, with 300K already out in the wild, and TV guys done hyping them. Other than Mike on CSN. And why they won't come close to selling another 200K. The fact that they are going to remain available on the Mint website, likely for many years to come, is what will absolutely kill the secondary market.

As they did to the half dollar mint rolls. That’s another that will live on the website long-term.

I had one of these, but frankly got tired of looking at it and sold it. With a potential 499,999 more of them out there in this world, I figured I could do without it. My life hasn’t changed since I sold it, so I don’t think I’ll need to go back and grab another.

    I agree.

    Let the love fest continue.

Common ground. Good to see. You both make sense even when you don’t agree. Your comments are much appreciated

Thanks for the kind words!!! :)
