So visiting a local coin show today in Batavia, NY, I was drawn to this lightly rainbow toned early dated Standing Liberty quarter. Beautiful luster and a FH designation. I’m pleased. Zack.

Your image is a little tough to decern, but I always liked the 18-P as a bit of a sleeper date, especially well struck and in FH. Yours looks like a lovely example!

I love SLQs and yours looks like a glittering jewel. I believe the rainbow effect can be seen ever so slightly on both sides in your images. When I see these coins I am taken back to a show I attended in 1993 where the late Bob Rose had two or three rolls of mint state SLQs spread across a black velvet tray and the light reflecting off of them was insane.

That must have been quite the sight to see. Hard to imagine anything like that still exists today. More profit in breaking the rolls up and certifying them individually.
Sweet coin! There is something very special about SLQs in mint state.
