That’s really a great one. The only set I’ve actually completed (or really tried to) is proof Franklins. Love it!

    Nice. B)
I said this before, I wish they'd resume the Franklin halves and switch JFK to the $100.

For multiple reasons (some obscure) I do like frosty proof Franklins.

Attractiveness - They can have off the charts eye appeal (the contrast between fields and device, whether toned or untoned).

Nostalgia - I remember my dad ordering proof sets from the mint in the early 1960's and seeing proof Franklins (with me seeing Franklins in daily commerce)

Still cherrypickable - Minted from 1950-1963 (14 years) in mintages of just over 50,000 (1950) to over 3,000,000 (1961, 1962 and 1963), even today (63 years after the last Proof Franklin was made in 1963) there are still large numbers of raw proof Franklins still present in the hands of non collectors, collectors and dealers (including some that have never been searched through). Thus there is still the opportunity for some to search for and find raw proof Franklins that have the qualities that Winesteven's 1961 PF68DCAM CAC has.

Nice that it stayed in the 'family'.

I'm not sure they should put JFK on a federal reserve note

The number should be much lower but there isn't a Love button to click, so it has to be only a Like. Sorry :/
