I can understand the scuffs, but do the keys wear down the coin's surface like that. The obverse's blossoms and leaves and reverse's wreath are really worn.

The progression of over exposure
That said you did a great job of showing in accelerated fashion the degradation of mint surfaces/luster down to the VF level. So many people / graders get stuck on details but they fail to grade the surfaces2 -

I quit carrying these a few years back.
They do get quite beat up though.
These were carried mostly by themselves in a pocket from mint state.

You can see the credibility problem, can't you? Two artificially circulated coins, but the 3rd one is natural!

Not sure what else to say 🤷♂️ I’ve got progression pics for that coin.
I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm just saying that you can see why there may be doubters. But it's hardly that important for me to spend any time worrying about.
