Scottie -4 today thru 13. May have been an interesting T20 value off his poor performance yesterday, betting for a rebound. I didn't think to look at the odds.

I’ve always wondered if he bet $500 instead of $5 how long the dissertation’s would actually be.🤔
When my posts here are a dissertation, usually means I'm in a good mood. If ya notice no dissertations in this sports betting thread from me, then it probably means my allotted bankroll went south.
Sort of like when your beloved Chiefs went belly-up in last season's Super Bowl. You clammed up and went missing from the forum for months. We thought you may have joined a monastery. 😉
Believe it or not… it didn’t take me long to get over the SB loss. I just wish it would have been competitive… that’s what sucked.
Anyway…. tomorrow I will probably make a bet on the SB, it will more than likely be my only wager of the year. Will post my bet here if I do place one.

Scottie at T28 now. Opportunity missed for a T20 wager before the second round began. No sense even looking at it now, probably no value.

Thanks for the tip. I'll remember that. Right now, I'm just betting chicken feed, so I'm not worried about it. If I decide to step-up, I plan on opening accounts with around five books, to shop around for the best odds, and try to get the most value on profit boosts. Still not sure though as perhaps wagering mostly if not always at one book, may result in the highest comps.
That being said, I've been edged out on some bets whereby maybe on another book the line would have been slightly different and thus I hit the bet. When it comes to a winning bet versus profit boosts, I'll of course take the win every time.

Any of you guys hitting up any prop bets for tomorrow's game?
The book I'm using has some sort of anytime TD "super" bonus, so I'm definitely playing that.
Haven't decided yet on the particular player. You only get one choice for the bonus money. Probably play Charbonnet. The problem is "almost everyone" is going to play him, which would lessen the payout. So may look for a receiver from either team for some greater value, hopefully catch that, and hope Charbonnet gets none, resulting in a nice payout. Then again, I'd rather receive something than nothing. Decisions, decisions. LOL

Charbonnet is out, so went with Smith-Njigba wide receiver, first TD or last TD.
They ended up winning but it was worth it to me to cash it out, I bet $100 and made $125, I didn't mind leaving $25 on the table when they were up. 4 with 2 minutes to go since a LOT can happen in the last 2 minutes of an NBA game

a nice, tidy 67 from Thee would be rather nice tomorrow. the tournament will end right before the SB, so i'm in wait-n-see mode before i pull the trigger there. will be interested to know which direction you guys go with the game.

he's just a different breed. bad day at the office on Thursday and people started murmuring crazy things like, "gonna miss the cut." fast forward to Saturday night and he's only 4 shots off the lead. will he win? i don't think so, because he has to blow past a lot of players tomorrow. can he? again, he's a different breed......of course he can.
a T20 play on him after the 1st round would have been a shrewd bet. any time you can grab Scheffler at attractive odds, you should. unfortunately my book didn't provide that opportunity.......only top 5 after the 1st round, and I didnt have that much belief in him. he may remind me who he is tomorrow.
will be interested to know which direction you guys go with the game.
until tomorrow...
Nothing really jumping out at me for value.
I'll look at it again tomorrow, but as of right now, may just stick with my little prop TD bet. For a nickel wager, if he scores the first TD, it would probably pay around $100 in no-sweat bets. If he also scores the final TD, it would be around $200 in no-sweat bets. Even if he does neither, it's still a live bet on anytime TD.
gambling is so fluid. there i was about to go to sleep, and right before i did i caught wind of Captain America in the lead over in Qatar. he's been white hot lately, so hopefully i wake up to another 50-spot

Am staying put with only my 2 previous bets which are still live. Over 45.5 to complete my parlay, which first half was Gotterup last week top 20 in golf. Pays $22.99 for $5. Second live bet NE ML to win SB. Pays $55 for $5.
Best of luck to all with your SB action.

Well I was going to drop a nuke on Seattle ML today, the $1500 variety but after giving it some real thought and figuring a $1500 bet to win $610 just isn't worth it and it's enough to ruin the day if it don't cash
I'm going to throw some prop bet darts, plus I got a few squares going so rather than a straight bomb I'm just going to enjoy the game and root for my prop bets and hope the Pats can pull it off.
I got a 30% live bet option for a $100 so that will be used at some point during the game.
Before the season began, either in this thread, or I think it was the Patriots thread or NFL thread, I called the Patriots at 60-1 as the best long shot play to win the Super Bowl. Now to clarify, I never thought they would get there, just that if any long shot would get there, the Patriots had the best chance. Of course they still aren't there yet, but at +4.5 today, they certainly have a chance.
At 60-1 odds, I sure wish I would have placed a bet on it. At minimum. I coulda cashed out and made a nice profit, I coulda been somebody.
good start to the day with P Reed doing me right overseas. waiting for the smoke to clear at the Waste to see how much -- or how little -- i unload on the Bowl.
and speaking of the Waste Management tournament, check this out. it's a quickie article with a video sandwiched in the middle. i had no idea who this Jack Doherty kid was. but if there is any human being on the planet who deserves to have their teeth knocked out, it's him. he's a 22-year-old youtuber who has made millions from idiotic stunts he pulls while streaming live. walks around with a gargantuan bodyguard, because someone would stomp him out otherwise.
yesterday he showed up at the golf tournament and propositioned a spectator who was about 12 beers deep to yell "Jackass!" in pro golfer Mackenzie Hughes' backswing. of course the drunk idiot accepted the challenge, and all it took was 100 bucks to create the moment. then Doherty played innocent until a tournament official got real with him.
if he had pulled this stunt at the Masters he would have eaten dirt within seconds and probably would have had his hands sheared off from the cuffs
absolutely the right move to take the profit in the Rockets game. you could have a 4-point lead with 10 seconds left and easily lose an NBA bet. if you ever make money off of a pro hoops tilt -- or have the opportunity to cut a wager off in order to do so -- you do exactly that...................then slowly walk away.
I just checked and noticed that my alma mater, Penn State, has never been in a Super Bowl. And they may have about as much chance of beating USC today, as ever being in a Super Bowl. In all seriousness, had an excellent day yesterday with NCAA hoops, so let's see if it continues.

An appetizer before tomorrow
Then ya need Jell-O...

Um...Those ain't Tudor's or Miggle's...

My guy 176JohnsonSt found out that they were produced by Wilton Baking Co...
What are those meat things?
High end Salami or something weird like smoked elk or buffalo?
Well Shame on me for getting cute thinking Houston would be a solid bet without going against SGA and for meddling with NBA action lol

It's from one of my mom's cookbooks using ground beef...Um... kinda hold that thought and I'll scan up up the recipe gig...
I know there's one made with 3 Lbs and another one made with 5 Lbs...
I think it was about last late winter... I used 1 Lb ground beef, 1 Lb ground pork, and 1 Lb of ground deer...
You're also gonna need Morton's Tender Quick Curing Salt...
It's actually Pretty Easy to make...
The Hardest-Funist thing to do is:
Beat Your Meat...
Once everything is mixed...store in your refrigerator 4-5 days...And everyday during those 5 days is:
Glove Up...And Mix/Beat The Meat...
Shape & Bake in a super low oven temp for 6-7 hours or so..
Yeah 4 Sure I'll hook ya up on the recipe gig...

Gonzaga ML
Very low odds but ML lock, so why not take it?
4 point lead and I made $125
Not doing the sweat to the last minute and getting sniped, cash out left $25 on the table if it won outright, not worth it to gamble a decent payout
Nice hit!
Oh, I didn't see the cash-out.
Still a nice hit.
Thanks bud!
