Back to my roots (with a twist), Gold CAC Doily 1898 $10

Several people (jokingly) have suggested that I needed to change my name if I didn't get back on track soon. I have heard "pcgsgoldcac" or "pcgsngcgoldcac" as possible name changes. Well here you go gold friends. I just received this beauty and tried my best to get accurate photos of her.
This is the only $10 1898 with a Gold CAC sticker (across all grades). There are only eight $10 Liberty coins in the Doily Census. This is one of two Gold CAC's (there are 3 green). A true rarity.
It had everything I wanted. Doily Gold coin, Doily Gold CAC Gold coin, and luster bomb. Grabbed it as soon as I saw it.

I don't know. . . gold might dip another 5%.
It’s difficult for me to get excited about a common date eagle that’s undergraded that would be worth melt if it wasn’t for the fancy holder and sticker.
Congrats on another cool acquisition to your collection!

No worries @skier07 I probably don't like what you collect but the difference is I don't comment on them.

@pcgscacgold, again? Another gold CAC doily? Man, you can surely find those hidden gems. That’s why we collect what we collect!

That's a lovely looking Eagle! Looks all of 63+ from those images. And a Doily!
I was just talking with a friend about this ...
It's a "Trifecta Plus". Older holder, CAC, Original AND Attractive!!
Maybe in this case it's even a Trifecta Triple Plus! (adding for the Gold Bean and the Doily)
.
I have a new name for you ... other than BUM ... but that was Paul's creation anyway.
@OldHldrCACGoldGuy
.
That's kind of a lot ... so from your CBH buddies, you're still just a BUM!!
j/k ... great coin and glad you are having fun!

Didn't expect anything else @pursuitofliberty
If that got into a 63+ there would be only 30 or so coins graded higher with CAC. Some here don't realize the rarity of the $10 Libs when you get into the 80's and 90's.

I get where you're coming from, but I admit to liking OGH and that often has an undue influence on a coin purchase. YMMV.

Great coin, I can just imagine the original submitter of this coin scratching their head when they saw the 61.
Just a nice buy all around - congrats!

Thanks @Copperindian These are fun to collect.
I agree @TennesseeDave If she was in a CACed 63 holder there would be only 30 or so graded higher. Pretty rare so I bet the original submitter felt cheated.

I have a doily 11-D Saint in MS61 with a gold CAC sticker. I will try to post a picture later. Congrats on your acquisition.
How did that end up in a 61 holder?? Nice pickup!

Post it here. I would love to see it. These are great coins to collect.

That 1898 G$10 is a very cool pick-up. This is a common date Liberty G$10 and is only worth bullion at even two grades higher so any premium over melt is for the doily PCGS slab and the gold CAC sticker. Very cool and if I saw it, I would have pounced on it assuming the price wasn't too far over melt value.
