Seattle....neither team I care about but will still watch it. I am a Packers and Bills fan.

Should be a fun game to watch. Good matchup. Guess we'll need to whip up some Super food for the event. And drinks.

As much as I hate to admit it, Seattle seems to be much stronger than the young Patriots. Still, everyone thought the same thing when young Tom Brady won his first Super Bowl over the heavily favored St. Louis Rams.

the Patriots win an ugly bad-weather game with a 2nd-year QB, and everyone assumes the NFC champion is going to win the Super Bowl. good thing we've never been in this position before.

I believe it will be more like the PATRIOTS vs. BEARS, but nowhere near as lopsided. I think that was 46-10 in 1986. Maye has nowhere near the upside that Brady had vs. St. Louis.

All things being equal, I think the Seahawks win it.

That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if the Patriots prevail.

I voted for Seattle , not just because I am a Seahawks fan , but they are a complete team . The teams Seattle played all year and in the playoffs are the top teams in the nfl San Francisco and the rams 3 times each this year
In my opinion the rams and Niners are the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the nfl this year

I will admit that i have not watched much Seahawks football this season, but I sure was surprised with what I saw last night. with all the talk i have heard on radio etc. I was expecting the 2000 ravens to show up. the Rams had a number of strong drives last night and they were able to score 27. the hawks only hit Stafford 3 times and only 1 sack. and Stafford is a statue.

In my limited viewing, Houston seems like the best defense I have seen all season. their pass rush is insane.

I picked the Patriots. they may not win in 2 weeks, but I will never trust Darnold. he played well last night, but still, Darnold...

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

If I'm being honest I can say the same thing about Maye

Sure he has been Phenominal during the regular season making throws and playing at an MVP level against run of the mill defenses

If CJ Stroud didn't have one of the worst QB playoff games in history I don't feel Maye did enough to win

If Stidham and weather were not involved yesterday I still don't think Maye did enough to win.

I'm obviously rooting for Maye but I'm not confident he is going to knife through Seattle

The rams offense by far is #1 in the NFL and it is not close
Rams have the MVP quarter back
Rams have 2 of the top 15 wr in the nfl
Rams have probably the #1 offensive coach in the NFL
Rams have played a brutally tough schedule like all the teams in the NFC west

Sean McVay still owns the Seahawks, at least offensively. That was clear again yesterday. The Rams were one of just a couple teams this year that gashed the Seahawk's D. This game WAS the Super Bowl to me.
Great to see Darnold get the monkey off his back. Now he needs to finish the job in two weeks. I expect he will, and so does Vegas.

See a 31-24 Seattle win. Pats hanging in there for 3 quarters. But maybe if Pats can get a few turnovers could be a different story.

very true about Maye. While I am all fired up and wound up about the Patriots being in the Super Bowl, I dont have exactly the same "feeling" I had when Tommy was QB. I had lots of confidence with him under center. I dont "know" Maye like I did tom so i dont know how he will react to situations.

This season is just so unexpected to me that at this point, am feeling really happy to be here. They are ahead of schedule and I feel like they are playing with house money. I hope they are using this playoff as experience/learning points to come out better next season

I think Drake played tight yesterday because he was focused so hard on not fumbling. and denver has a good defense!

The one thing that stuck out to me during the 4th quarter of that game is McDaniels called a 3rd down pass to be thrown out of bounds

Does he trust Maye in adverse situations?

Like I said in great situations he is as accurate as Brady but throw some monkey wrenches at him and I don't know

I think it is a learning experience for all of us, Maye included. I always felt we had an advantage with Brady under center when it was raining/snowing/cold. I dont know about Drake yet. not sure if he has that same magic.

I remember that pass. not sure why Josh wouldnt just let Stevenson run it up the middle and at least use some clock?

So far at 16 to 3, the Patriots aren't getting much love. Not a good sign for the Patriots because we all know that when the majority of fans like a particular team in a sports event, it always wins. 😉

Seattle played a depleted SF team, and their vaunted defense got shredded by Stafford and Puka

Pats run D is solid and Christian Gonzalez will be on JSN

My snap judgement on this game was Seattle wins easy, they still might but looking at it at that angle I described its quite possible this is a closer game than initial thoughts

the same depleted Sf team that went cross country and won in philly in the wild card round? the same depleted niners team that hung 42 points on da bears in week 17 ? the score was 41 - 6 seattle, in division round.. christian mccafrey the best rb in football had what 2.1yards a carry.

the rams offense is #1 in nfl and it is not close!!
even though the rams scored on seattle in the last 2 meetings guess what, the rams lost both games seattle has an offense too

I am just saying seattle has been battle tested all year. playing in the hardest division and playing the best teams all year. not playin a bunch of last place teams that are barely above college level.

I am not saying this means seattle wins the super bowl, because anything can happen in 1 game

The Bears Defense has more holes than a strainer and Philly has been marginal at best the entire second half of the season so yes

I always felt whoever survived the NFC West might eventually raise the Super Bowl trophy.

Seattle played the Rams and 49ers 6 times this year, and they went 4 and 2. That's pretty tough sledding.

I havent made up my mind yet, but if were going to use the Rams as an example then it cant be ignore that Seattle won because of a muffed punt that gave them a first down in the red zone and scored. Wasnt even the only muiffed punt of the game but the Rams recovered the first one

The Super Bowl should never be a blow out - after all, it is the best of the best of the best

apparently you are a fair weather football fan, no problem with that, and remember DENIAL is the 1st sign of a problem,

special teams is just as important to a football game as the offense and defense, what is the rams weakness? their special teams and there secondary, and what did Seattle do like good teams do, attack your weakness. the rams have fired 2 special teams coaches in the same year, imagine what that says..

How do you go about attacking Special. Teams weakness like some idiot fumbling a return?

you attack special teams by A not coffin corner kicking , and seattle has the highest paid punter in the league. that paid off big time for seattle in the NFC championship game, as a matter of fact the rams punt returner fumbled the 1 st punt also, seattle just happened to recover the 2nd punt,

so the returner fumbled 2 different punts and seattle recovered 1.

you notice the rams fired 2 different special team co-ordinators this year, so yeah special teams is a priority.

you notice in the DIvision round when SEattle totally blew away the niners..... 41-6

shaheed took the 1st kickoff of the game to the house..
after that the niners punted every kick out of bounds..!!!!

thats how you attack special teams..

    Thank you for the question...

Without that fumble which had nothing to do with Seattle the Rams win

Thanks for typing all that out though
