Of all the fake Hudson halves, this one is the most fake.
If it's not fake, it should be.
It's pretty ugly, even if real. I voted real and ugly.

I don't like it because the lettering and devices are not sharp. I'd pass, no matter what the price is over face. There is a reasaonable chance that it is a fake.
The mintage was mostly sold to a dealer who cornered the market and charged high prices for the time. After paying a premium like that, only fool would damage the coin like this.
I think it looks genuine and it looks like it may have been a pocket piece.
