I see those all the time, bicentennial quarters claiming multiple errors like letters touch the edge and so forth. Almost every one of them has a the same or nearly the same flowery AI generated description.
Up for sale is a 1908 S V.B.D. Lincoln wheat cent Daniel car over strike design of extreme and utter rarity of the greatest rarity, there is only a few made of these as shown in the picture in the description. this is an incredible piece to any one collector's registry. now the burn mark you see on the holder is from a rather famous fire in Boston, from where a man's house caught on fire, he had an entire coin collection that he barely got out in the just nick of time where he got burned, he saved his collection, sadly his dog did not make it because he couldn't get to the room that his dog was in. the fire barely crept up to the holder as it was about to engulf it in flames before he was able to finally get it out in the nick of time saving his collection and saving the preserved and most beautiful ms-69 1908 s Lincoln wheat cent over strike designed by Daniel Carr. what an incredible piece of collector history whoever's going to own this, I've seen it on eBay for over $1,000 in AU 58 grade by Annacs! I'm not going to even come near that Mark seeing this at a 69, and only 8 made in high grade!! I will accept offers but I'm not stupid and don't waste my time and waste yours by offering me a ridiculous offer that I'll never take, because in the future this coin is going to be worth 10 times that of what I'm asking. God bless you all and Happy shopping returns welcome
Yeah so...he's not really sure if they're restruck or damaged...

Ebay has become a safe haven for these new sellers offering coins with ridiculous prices that have so called errors like the L in liberty toching the rim and so forth. I had one seller tell me he knows it isn't an error but he was hoping to get lucky.

This could be one from the forum.

Seems like seller missed a fact—and yes, spelling counts.
Look, @cladking — it’s a decent 1983 D though.

Those cents sit on the non-skid pad of analog bathroom scales, seller couldn’t post a photo of the weight because it didn’t register.
Mighty White of you !

The Etsy people seem to have slithered over en masse to eBay. Yeesh.
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
At least the seller of the 68D Lincoln isn't listing it for 10's of thousands of doallars and claiming it's super rare.

That’s gonna make finding real filled mint marks, and the real ICOTS harder to pick, darn.
Hmmmmm….thinking about making an offer and sending it in to PCGS for grading if I win it. 🤪
A real cream puff 🥴
