Halves used to command a slight premium, but those days are gone for now anyways. I'd sell the most worn junk you have first. I'm down to about $700FV now but it's all AU and higher. RGDS!

The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
Retiring at 55, what day is today? :sunglasses:

I'd sell some of my SLV ETF instead and let the melt market settle down a little.

I would keep a bit of all three denominations. If the price of silver keeps rising, I think a dime would be useful for filling up the gas tank, a quarter would be useful for buying a few weeks' worth of groceries, and a half could pay a month's rent. :o

And don't forget war nickels, they have now crossed the $5 mark. 100 x face!!

According to Coinflation.com a silver dime now contains $6.52 in silver.

Circulated set of silver Roosevelt dimes (1946-1964) - $313.
Circulated set of Franklin halves (1948-1963) - $1,141.
Circulated short set of Walking Liberty Halves (1941-1947) - $652.
Circulated set of war nickels (1942-1945) - $56.

I think these are on their way to becoming type coins. Beginning collectors of modest means will probably gravitate toward cents, nickels and modern clad.

I sold my modern proof sets 1st.
    Then dimes
Ag3 or worse coins regardless of denomination.

If going by just face... sell most circulated 1st... that will be least silver.

To answer your question, as you asked it and not take liberty with it by adding thoughts you haven't asked for:
    Halves
    Dimes
Then quarters. Quarters seem to be easier to sell and more preferred by folks

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I sold 90% US and 50% Canadian at 50x, now I might have to go back through and pick out all the US clad, Nickels and 80% Canadian.

For quite a lot of coins what is evaporating is any Numismatic or Sentimental value. I probably won’t live long enough to see the end result of all this - - - the artificial creation of Numismatic rarities. This is almost like the Pittman Act reincarnate.

I'd sell the junkiest material first.

    Personally, I de-prioritize dimes.

What's a reasonable price to sell 40% Ikes for in this environment? A former co-worker received several and has no interest in them. Thanks.

Sold ASE's since highest price and not interested numismatically. Morgans will be last.
