Modern Proof Sets

When you are selling them are you cracking them open and pulling the 90% or .999% out?
Lock b&m is reticent to take the sets so wondering if I just pull the silver will it make things easier?

People have been doing that for awhile, when the majority of the value is in the PM portion.
Then they go on ebay and sell the remnants...or just spend them.

I've seen rolls of proof cents and nickels because someone breaks apart 50+ sets just for the silver to sell.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Spend 'em, YN giveaways (there is a giveaway forum here), etc.
Some may be worth ebaying...never know

    "Preferred"?
Definitely for some folks, but not for others.

Some folks want the full set for set collection. Some just want the silver. Different crowds.
Time and place are everything when selling.

For older silver proof sets, the cent and nickel are not worth much. If you are fortunate enough to have bought the 2025 silver proof set, however, the proof Lincoln cent is worth as much as ALL of the silver coins combined. These are selling on Ebay for $200 + raw and more for graded PR70.

Night Hawk, interesting! What's going on with the proof Lincoln in the 2025 silver proof set? Is it copper, or some other special production? Is it silver? I haven't been paying much attention.
