Nothing remarkable about it. While I for many years advised you to hoard ASEs, I have always voiced, because of silver spot price volatility, the value of closely monitored short term paper ETF plays on silver. I have decided to now pursue silver with the quickest/easist method of ownership, while abandoning the costs and hassles of owning/disposing the physical. In my case it's about age and the complications I leave my heirs. I'm still an advocate for long term stacking; I'm simply nearing the end of my "long term," and don't want to force the beginning of a long term on my heirs. My silver stacking has served me well and also those that listened.

About 170 grams fine for 185 Dollars...

That is quite a deal at the current silver price.
There might even be a couple premium coins in there, depending on date and condition.
.
Thanks!
It's the "usual" mix of common date 90% German Empire silver coins including a few uncirculated 1914/1915 ones plus two 62.5% Hindenburg 2 Reichsmark. No key dates or high grade coins from "better" years.
The commemorative 3 Mark from Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach usually carries a premium around 100 Dollars, but this one unfortunately is holed and heavily polished.
All the 90% silver coins will go into my stack, they are my preferred kind of silver.

Wow very powerful. You obviously like the stacker mentality. Very cool.
Interesting read. I think my biggest takeaway is after all that activity the dealer still bought more silver than he sold.
The shop I was in Saturday, it was all selling. No one was buying 90% priced at melt or .999 above melt. They were getting garbage prices tbh but they were taking it.

I’m not buying much at these prices but this estate sale find seemed right. They’re weighted but I’m thinking low at $30.

Well crap,
I thought it was short for Regards.
Thanks!

Let us know how that works out. I think that's what I paid for a similar pair as a Christmas present to my parents years ago.

COPPER is gutter !

Last week on one of the 5 or 6 dollar dips I picked up 20 oz of silver and 1/2 oz gold from JM. Waiting for delivery.
At $60 who am I to say no.

Still makes more sense than whatever I had come up with!
The other commenters who said it means "regards" - I think they're right; now I feel a little dumb

Read this LCS owner’s post concerning his shops business yesterday and FOMO was talked about: I thought it was very interesting.

When you paid $15 - $75 is acceptable...
$93.50 Per ounce. Not to shabby for a “Gutter Metal” wish a bought another couple of thousand ounces
