Anyone do any research on 1964-D Peace $'s and see this on Coin Facts?

Happy New Year!

I was doing some research for a friend's podcast and saw a PCGS link discussing the mystery around that coin. It took me to a 2012 article which I include a link here:

Continuing to follow links I ended up on Coin Facts and this information:

Conceptual image is cool, but I really was interested in the listed eBay auction record! Clicking on that link resulted in this image:

Maybe worth correcting going forward!

    Your first screenshot is clipped right above the "Send us feedback" link, which is probably the place to let them know about the error, and which I just did.

    It’s interesting that a coin that (supposedly) doesn’t exist has an assigned PCGS number.

    I knew a dealer, who passed on years ago, who claimed a collector showed him an example of the 1964-D Peace Dollar. This dealer was a modern coin expert, and this before Carr made his copies.

    The trouble is if someone has one of these coins, they might themselves in court as it was with the 1933 double eagles.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    that auction association problem is widespread but i don't know how many times you's find it on, say, the 1914d cent pages

    i sent corrections for obvious errors like this and nothing happened

    their coin encyclopedia isn't taking correction reports?? not good.

    He talks about the 1964 Peace dollar, the ones given to employees, recalled the next day, and only the weight of the returned dollars was verified.

    I have sometimes wondered if he was or if he wasn’t given a sample, but I have never seen anything that would convince me that he was.
