DC : I would like (to sugggest) a 3-coin cents "fantasy" set with "omega"
(1) Wheat cent dated 2009 with an omega
(2) Memorial cent dated 2019 with an omega
(3) Shield cent dated 2026 with an omega
AND
how about a 1933 $2.5 Indian Head Quarter Eagle ? to go with the $5 Half from previous years
Thanks in "Advance !"
.
The "1933" Quarter Eagle is on the list to do (eventually).
I've already done "2009-S VDB" over-strikes.
Due to 2025 being the last year for circulating Lincoln Cents, I think i will focus on "2026" over-strikes.
But I am still deciding.
.
Hasn't the Mint stated there will be a 2026 dated cent to be part of its yearly Mint set like the Kennedy half(?)
Apparently, but NIFC.

I think a 2026 Omega Cent with "S" mintmark would be great and kind of a "tap the elbow" to the US mint, etc.

Yes, but they likely won't have a "D" mint mark and won't have a Greek letter privy mark.

Someone reported my listing as counterfeit to eBay, and eBay’s great AI removed my listing‼️
Tried to tell the AI that no USMINT large cents were minted in 1792, and that this was a fantasy strike token, not a counterfeit coin, but AI doesn’t understand ‼️

Which category did you list it in, "Large Cents" or "Fantasy Issue Coins" ?
I've reported numerous listings for literally piles of modern counterfeit Morgan Dollars and not one such listing was ever taken down.
If anyone has one of these open house coins, you might be able to see the ghosting of the original coin. On this one the eyes of John Tylor are just to the right of Washington's right eye, with Tylor's ear just under Washington's left eye. On the reverse the head of lady liberty if visible on the breast of the eagle. The edge dating might give a clue as to which it could be as well.

I would very much like to order one of these to keep current on Dan's work, but haven't figured out how to access to order since the website change. Would anyone be able to help me?
@smuglr - I have not seen them on the MM sales page. My assumption at this point, is that they may be going to a third party seller. Not certain, and could be wrong, but that is my hunch. (Trust me, I'm looking to acquire one as well.)

@SPalladino One positive is the commissioned pieces usually have no price listed (These show $200) and also are marked as "Commissioned by Distributor". Let's just hope he is loading up a page of newps as we speak.
@SPalladino Thank you! as well. I don't really know a lot about his process. I'm usually late to the game on Dan's items, only recently found out about watching here for hints, and have missed a couple that haunt me.
I'm working on some other new (2026) products and then I will list everything at the same time.
That way, a buyer won't incur duplicate shipping costs for separate orders (because they can get everything on one order).

Thank you Dan for the info and for the consideration of shipping costs for multiple orders.
Kind of random question. I got a nice display case for Christmas. I want to use it for my Carr items. However the plastic holder is just a little bit to big for the spots. With that said, I figured I could remove from the plastic case, but wanted to keep the tag with the coin. Now my actual question, will the tag sitting directly under a coin cause any damage to the coin?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, or OCD, but displaying any coin without a protective holder, against any surface, be it the 'tag' or the case itself could cause damage to the coin.

The paper tag will not cause any harm by itself.
But the top face of the coin will likely tarnish over time since it is exposed to the air.

I wonder what the actual “breakdown “ figures on these half cents are ,that used two cents as host coins ⁉️

I’ve only noticed one out of all of them,(left head and right head),that had ghost of a two cent piece on the host coin.
Here’s the only one I’ve seen:
Mine was struck on a two cent piece as well.
About 50% were on Two Cents pieces.
About 25% were on cut-down Large Cents.
About 25% were on Half Cents.

Nick- maybe it’s because you have “IGG” as the grading company instead of “ICG”? Perhaps that was a flag for the system? Just taking a guess.
