Lincoln 1922 no D weak reverse "Value"

I can't find a value for the 22 no D weak reverse in the PCGS price guide. Does PCGS not recognize this coin as a variety?

PCGS certifies all weak reverses as a Weak D. So, there will not be a listing for what you are searching. They only certify the strong reverse as a no D.

Go to the price guide and find the 1922D. Find the little box next to the number and click on it. It will show the prices for the 1922 weak D.

I can see why they call it “weak D”, though - there is a faint D even though it used to be certified as “no D”

I have a raw 22 No D weak reverse in my inventory in the PCGS app.
This is PCGS coin # 2540

Although the info page for this coin is not listing any prices for any grades, the app does pull a $335 current value for the G6 in my inventory.

Thanks all, especially the links. Looks like I'll be replacing my "Weak Reverse (weak D)" with a strong reverse. I'm going to need some time to save up for that one.

I understand why they did what they did, but in my book on the cents of 1922 I will be recognizing 1922 "No D, Weak Reverse" cents.

@CaptHenway , were you able to contact the owner? Appears this coin was auctioned at HA in 2023 but you probably already had that info. It doesn't appear to be in a registry. Cert # 45723588

Have you purchased his new book? I'd recommend.

This '22 did not seem to fit any other DP in his book other than DP#3. The image is a little dark so I could not make out many diagnostics, especially reverse die cracks which helps to eliminating or verify many DPs outlined in his book.

Capt could come on and blow me out of the water. I look forward to his response even if I'm way off base.

Die Pair #3, but probably too worn to be able to say whether it entered the world as a "Faint D" or a "No D." If so, then by default it is a "Faint D."
